I don't think this will be reliable in traffic when you are filtering, I also considered these but the probably of hitting other vehicles seems high

In fact, it will increase the overall width of the bike, I'm counting on the feature to move/realign mirrors while driving on heavy traffic conditions. Still, have like 10 months to find some other options.

Agreed! Only they use it as service oil. It might have a high margin ( its the costliest oil available in India) . The problem is that in India benelli has set quite a short service interval of 4000kms. So every 4000 the drain the 1.5Liter fully synthetic oil ( the oil is rated to last 10000 kms) hence increasing the cost per service. The oil in market is available for 1000rs or 264 mexican peso. They use 1.5Liter so the cost comes to around 1500 rs or 395 mexican peso. And thats just the cost of oil change. Hence , per service bill normally is above 2500 rs or 655 mexican peso.
Yeah, we have the same short interval for service in Mexico (4,000 kms). I think they designed the maintenance to be highly expensive... err... premium! hahaha.

In that case I wouldn't use the Motul 300v... It's a complete waste for the class of engine of or motorcycles! I would use the Motul 5100 instead which is semi-synthetic and theoretically it would last a little bit more than 5,000 kms.

Tip of the day: Did you know? Motul 3000 (mineral), Motul 5100 (semi-synthetic), Motul 7100 (synthtic) the numbers represent the numbersl of kilometers that the oil lasts! (Perhaps everyone knows that, but I recently learned that, hehehe)

Alcalo, you are correct, it represent the milage they are designed for, however, on both my car (vw golf mk1) and my old bike (Honda Dazzler) I only ran the oil for 2000 kilometres, even Motul 7100, fresh blood is a plus for a long lasting engine... At least, that's my experience.

We will have to see that the maintenance comes to be expensive or premium. Yes, 5100 will do just fine , they change it at 4000 anyway! And no, i didnt knew about this numbering so does 300v represent 300 kms or what ? Hahaha .

You said right, fresh is always better but well, people will high running, the cost will just be high for even 7100. 5100 would be ideal for this process. Costs half the price and has synthetic properties!

I totally agree! Motul 5100 seems to be the smartest option to use for our motorcycles. And you could always compensate those 1,100 kms (that are not going to be used) by revving the engine really hard with no worries at all! (as this bike loves to be in high RPMs... and we love the exhaust note as well!!! )

Personally I prefer the exaust note of TNT25 over 300 as 300 sounds feels better in traffic to attract attention, but on long runs it just reduces other sounds & seems irritating. Not good for ears as well

Regarding the TNT25 sound. Its packs in a whole lot of rumble during pickup from 0-60 which is needed as a sports bike, but once above 50-60 settles down well & not annoying for long run.

Just got the Motul C1 and C2 chain cleaner and lube.
Was thinking of Tribocor but somehow Motul was my preference based on brand quality and trust.

Will use it soon and keep posted...

Motul 5100 is an Good Eng oil but compared to 7100 its not tat great.

5100 is semi synthetic but 7100 is FS.Bikes like TNT25,Duke,NS,AS,RS deserve 7100.Its brilliant oil and can easily(Easily , i mean it) till 7000Kms.I would say pout 7100and then see the difference.Exhaust note,Engine smoothness,Reliability etc will just increase

I would agree in putting Motul 7100 to my motorcycle but when the warranty period expires. For my peace of mind and sense of efficiency, I won't change a synthetic oil at 4,000 kms just because the bike's manual says that. I will follow the specifications of the oil manufacturer instead. At the end... it's all about getting the best possible experience in our vehicles!
