Its ridiculous on DSK side to mark the break pad for 4K for a 250 CC bike, whatever they are imported or not, that does not make any sense.

for my I10 i pay not more than 3K and for my CIVIC i don't pay more than 8 to 10K for service.

and then we paying 8K for a bike does not make any sense, and what we do is just drain the oil and change few filters. purely Ridiculous....

i am not at all recommending this bike to anyone going forward period.

Very well said. One of my colleague was about to buy this machine and finally for the same reason he didn't opt for it. I believe anyone who is willing to buy this bike should have gone through this thread get his/her eye opened about Benelli before making decision. And what I would say about 8K for servicing, they are just looting people.

I didn't consider this bike exactly for the same reason. It in my opinion is overpriced for what it offers. The justification that it's a CKD and not manufactured in India is not something that I buy. Honestly do not care whether its made in India or not, because it's purely the conpanies problem. As a product, it may be good, but definitely not VFM.

I think whatever the bike comes from the source DSK become overpriced and non practical bikes mainly from the price and service cost tag.

Good Decision !! and you are correct, i understand the price difference if it is a CKD while we are looking at the entire bike, but a tiny shitty part for that price saying it is imported is utter nonsense....

Nice to know this. Once seller confirm then we can decide who of us are willing to stock it. And regarding front brake pad did you able to find any as i tried but not able to find anything.
            Thanks,

Donno whether benelli used sintered ones...but the seller told me Dat those pads can be used in tnt25...even though it is sintered by stock, the rear brake doesn't exist for me...just a shitty piece of engineering 😑

I think DSK Benelli has a smart market strategy. Selling the CKD bikes at much less price and gaining profits from service centres. Hope they have acquired the margin they targeted for and give us a relief by reducing the cost of consumable products!

Well said Abhishek !! Lesson i learnt from buying experience of Benelli is before buying any brand's performance/super bike before making final decision going through the spares price and other service costs in details is a must by visiting the svc personally to get this information and then make final decision. I will be definitely following this before my next upgrade..

                  Hi All,
This post is to inform that again there is some issue with the speed sensor cable of my Tnt 25. If you can recall three weeks back i changed the speedometer sensor as the one which came with bike got damaged (no reason of damage found) which i got promptly replaced under warrant and just two back again speedometer has got mind of its own by showing incorrect speed and wrong kms for instance i ride bike daily to my office which is around 40 kms of total journey but speedometer is showing only 10 Kms for this journey so again the sensor must be gone kaput or might be any other issue. Will be visiting svc coming Saturday for detail check. I am amazed that how fast a speed sensor can get damaged that too by riding bike on concrete paved road and not off road (possibility of damage by flying stone from rear tyre) but still i am not able to digest this fact that a speed sensor is not robust to handle this or it might be faulty speedometer console which is gone bad.
Lets see will get to know once i visit the svc and will update the same on this post. Thank god i have opted for extended warranty.

                  Hi Arjun,
Regarding increase in engine vibration ideally it should not be the case as vibrations reduce after initial 1K to 1.5K Kms. How much kms your bike has done ?
And also do change the fuel bunk as many times if the quality of fuel is not good vibrations do increase this is what i experienced on my bike. It would be best to fill Shell regular petrol (not the V power one) which is of good quality or else do fill from other reputable pump.
                  Thanks,
                  Anway Kale.

This is very sad to read that DSK is taking its customers on a ride. What DSK are doing is damaging the reputation of Benelli, wonder what they are doing with Toyota brand. It is their greed that is annoying the customers, i have been following the TNT 300 thread and found same comments about DSK. Hope sense prevails in them and they bring their house in order.

Hi clocked 850 kms in 23 days on my beast. So far everything looks good however i hear some sound when i hit speed breakers sound like a "thud". Should i be worried as read in TNT 300 page that people had damages done to their wheel and so on. Has any of you guys tried the DIY as Binil who uses TNT 300 for mudguard extensions on TNT25.

What should be the ideal air pressure in tyres to be maintained as whenever i take Vishrantwadi road from Bombay Sappers in Pune i tend to experience wobbles or jumps on bike.

Can someone help me with Engine breaking. What is it's exact meaning? Is it recommended to downshift while applying brakes or do we have to bring the bike to standstill and then downshift?

                        Hi Rohan,
Nice to know bike is going good. Regarding thud sound i have not experienced it yet on my bike you can check with Roshan at Pune svc.

Recommended tyre pressure is of 36 psi in both tyres (same in both tyres). Though in booklet it is mentioned as 41 ps in service booklet but Roshan said correct pressure is 36 and not 41 psi.

Engine braking means whenever the bike is motion and you leave the accelarator the bike tends to slow down without you pressing any brake that is engine braking.
(From Google - Engine braking*occurs when the retarding forces within an*engine*are used to slow a vehicle down, as opposed to using additional externalbraking*mechanisms such as friction brakes or magnetic brakes)
                        Thanks,
                        Anway Kale.

                                Bad Day.

Bike suddenly failed to start after stopping at signal. Whenever trying to start the fuel pump restarts.

Called the service center and they asked to wait for 10 min and restart. Done the same pblm.

Called RSA. Waited for 1:15 mins for the pickup to arrive. Finally again called RSA and pick up came.

They gave the service card . Waiting for call from service center.

N.B : The ola auto meter also not working. Had to pay double fare. Seriously not a good day
