    i am sorry but i don't understand what you are saying.. increasing the no. of clicks makes the suspension stiffer not softer. on bad roads or light loads you want it to be down the range (it can be adjusted in 10 steps, higher the no. stiffer it is) and stiffer for good roads/heavier load (like carrying a pillion or being a heavy weight yourself).
    for your height and weight the stock setting of 3 should suffice or maybe one step lower, or up one level if you carry a pillion frequently. don't go ballistic while adjusting the suspension settings.. it could unsettle the ride and cause more problems than doing you any good. make small changes, ride a couple of days and see how it handles.

    pl check a brand new 390 and set your rear to that same position.. ride, make adjustments in steps of 1..ride and check.

    i weigh around 90 and used to have the rear on my 200 set at 6 clicks (3 being stock), and then last yr reduced it to 4 clicks (i.e. one more than stock) since i don't carry a pillion and prefer a softer setting due to bad roads and a bad back.

    Just curious, the 390 i assume comes with the stock setting at 3 clicks (max being 10) did you bump it all the way down ? how tall and how much do you weigh ?

    Also try using handle bar risers and/or adding 1 inch foam to the seat and see if they help with the ergonomics.
    And start doing some back strengthening and stretching exercises this helps in the long run!

    you could try to remove the oil from the top side after removing the top nut using a syringe and a long catheter tube attached to it, i've used this in the past to remove excess engine oil out without creating a mess. remove approx same amount from both sides trying not to exceed 50ml.

    But I have a back issue and this Bangalore roads are not doing any good either, so lowered the rear suspension by 3clicks now there's the balance of comfort and handling but I want to do the same for the front WP.
    You could remove up to 50ml, ive done this.. but not exactly removing the oil, but when i replaced the oil, i added around 40ml less than the recommended on my D200.

    Guys anybody tried removing the oil from the front suspension to make it softer. What would be the cons of it if done.
    Right now the bike is super flickable in traffic and I don't think any bike other than lower capacity dukes can come close to this.

    I rode my friend's Dominar back to back...and my bike felt quite underpowered compared to Dominar..[emoji53]
    one is the clutch plates could be slipping, another could be fueling issue.. fuel pump pressure related.
    try to open the tank, then start the bike up, shut it down after 30 seconds, close the tank and again start the bike and ride it to check. if it still isn't ok, pls get the fuel pump pressure tested (it should read around 2.6 bar)
    also if you haven't changed the fuel filter in a long time.. make sure it is changed and connected properly. also did you ride in the rain/get the bike washed recently ?? make sure there is no water in the fuel tank.

    From your posts, I infer that you have replaced your inline fuel filter, replaced your engine oil, and the nitty gritties. Now, you didn't answer as to how much KMS your bike has actually run. If it's above 20k kms or above 17k+ and your valves clearances haven't been checked, it's the right time to do so. Secondly, if you've been following the oil replacement schedule judiciously, your clutch plates will last more than 30k plus easily.

    Coolant have a life of over 2 years minimum. Replacing coolant every year isn't necessary. If the coolant level and the color of the color is as it should be, nothing to worry. Irrespective of the coolant color or level, it's good to replace coolant every two years, helps keep the cooling system clean.

    There is no timing belt as such, the bike is driven by timing chain which is basically maintenance free. Valve clearances are to be inspected every 10k to 15k kms depending on the usage and riding pattern. If one rides it on the boil all the time, it's a good practice to inspect the valve clearances early, say few thousand KMS early than the recommended interval.

    Start off by checking your valve clearances first. Secondly, make sure your spark plugs are cleaned and the cap is securely fit, and thirdly make sure the coolant level is right both on the reservoir and the radiator.

    Keep your observations posted.

    It might even be worn out clutch plates, don't compare Ur bike to other bikes bro it simply bugs our head even if we show this to mech they won't be able to solve the issue and just say no Saar your bike is fine. My bike feels less eagerness compared to the test ride bike which is ridden twice the km to my bike.
    I could easily make out the diff but they no Saar how can the test ride bike is powerful [emoji1751].

    I guess it should clean out the particles. I have also used the same for my bike the liqui moly performance pack and the oil tho I ride I CBR 250 it's got a full system and air filter. Bike runs pretty fine for 56k Kms.

    Check the throttle body aswell , and engine completely . Also check if your radiator is running fine and has enough coolant .

    I just had my bike serviced and did the oil change ( just ignored this issues thinking engine oil change may solve the issue)...have run about 700kms after the oil change..and i dont ride my bike that hard..i mainly use it to tour.. Air filter was pretty clean didn't need replacement.will anyway check the clutch plates..thanks.

    When was the last oil change done? If your oil is more than 3.5k kms old and your oil level is low, the performance will be sluggish and the engine will be rough, coupled with increased engine temperature. Too low oil can in fact burn your clutch plates and hence lead to poor acceleration and sluggish performance. How much has the bike clocked?

    Check your engine oil , first thing . Power loss can be a whole bunch of factors. But the first step is to check the state of the oil and when was your last oil change . Also check your air filter , may be clogged. Do you ride your bike hard a lot? If soo maybe your clutch plates are worn if your one of those people who like to redline the bike in every gear and all the time.
