Yes, the sweetspot is around 5-6k RPM. haven't spent much time above that range other than the occasional short bursts, but no vibes there. There's a lag when you're just puttering around on a higher gear and suddenly decide to speed up without downshifting.Originally posted by chip94 View Post

The D250 is a good commuter. Both the FZ 25 and the D250 have their share of problems, but no major problems till date. The chain needs a look every 500km or so.Originally posted by presidency View Post

Happened to ride a friends 250 for the whole of last week while he was out of town. I currently ride a 2017 390, so maybe I can give you guys my perspective regading vibes and riding in general.
The 250 is really really smooth below 6k rpm after which I felt the vibes creeping in and annoying me on the handlebar as well as pegs. Infact, my 390 feels smoother than the 250.
Some guys over here complained of footpeg vibes at around 4k? This bike didn't have any. The bike has got 12000km on the ODO, so maybe the bike smoothens out as you ride it?
The bike is a lot of fun as long as you keep her above 5K rpm imo. On his bike, there was a weird lag at around 3-4Krpm where the bike just seems to sit until it crosses that range. Is this on all 250's?Leave a comment:

I don't do a lot of touring as of now studying for becoming CA . Riding eliminates the stress of of me so i ride. Often short distances.I have a studds new helmet which i bought for everyday city commute but now i walk and use public transport so i haven't upgraded.I don't have a lot of time.
