Yesterday found that tyre pressure was low, front 16PS and rear 22PS. Now kept 25Ps front and 35PS rear, somehow increasing tyre pressure managed to reduce that harsh feeling to some extent. But how can tyre pressure go low in just 7days??

New issue : From last 3 days ,in this summer hot morning at around 9.15am to 10am, nTorq is not responding to self start. Starting smoothly after first kick. No self start issue faced after engine is warmed up.

I am afraid this may be a regular thing. You will most likely have to kick-start your scooter every morning unless you will give a chowk and give self-start a few tries. We have Honda Grazia, and with all digital speedometer, AHO it just asks us to give it a kick daily in morning otherwise have to try self-start 4-5times or so. The service center guy also recommended kick-start first time in the morning.

Have the prices of Ntorq increased already?? I went to the same dealership as Sonal. It now costs 75005/- , with ex showroom price of 62450/- and life tax of 6430/- .

And someone , can you please share the cost for Temporary Registration(T/R)? These guys are charging a whopping 800/-.

Though the scooter still hasn't seen my shores, other 2 wheelers depending on company, Temporary no. Is around 400/-.

So I have been thinking about replacing our old Activa from 11 years ago and I've been looking at Jupiter but someone asked me to check out Ntorq as well. My initial impression is that it's not quite the same thing, Ntorq seems focused on the more sporty/young crowd while Jupiter has the 'reliable shopping/italian scooter' image.

How do the owners feel, what segment does it fall under? I'm looking for a vehicle that my parents can ride so I don't think 125cc is what I need, is there anything Ntorq offers over Jupiter parents would appreciate? As an example Jupiter's bigger tyre size and better suspensions make it a much smoother ride than Activa thereby not inflaming my father's back.

Afaik the suspension setup is damm good compare to Craptiva. There is good amount of difference between suspension between Jupiter and nTorq. So for suspension nTorq is better in all aspects.

Another thing I did today is that I took my wife for test spin of ntorq at Delhi as I had some work at Karol Bagh, New Delhi & she's short but ahe liked it for the height.

And that rear tyre is FAT Which makes excellent tarmac footprint makes it grippy.

Did they suggest you engine flush? Oil should be around Rs. 400 and that should be the only charge payable.

You should see an icon to upload pictures while writing a comment. The engine flush is not necessary at all. The point of changing an oil after driving merely 500km serves the purpose of cleaning up an engine as it starts to set through the break-in period. The engine flushes are generally done in cars which are driven over 40,000km so that engine can flush out the slush gathered and jammed inside over the time. By doing that, it frees an engine and runs smoother.

For your service, they can say that yes engine flush will clean up the wearing in a brand new engine. But, Did it really required to use the engine flush? No.

Wierd.I have learned the exact opposite way - You need to flush the engine before every Single oil change.Because even after draining oil, spots of old oil might be sitting on the gears so if you add new oil,it will be polluted as it gets mixed with residue on the engine parts.A flush will completely cleanse inside the engine and will remove metal fragments that will be present due to wear and tear happening inside with time.Which is very good for the engine, especially with new ones where the amount of fragmentd will be higher than an older one.

I do this with my Jupiter for every oil change.Thinking of getting the NTorq 125 as a second scooter.
