I do this with my Jupiter for every oil change.Thinking of getting the NTorq 125 as a second scooter.

I had worked in office side of a garage abroad, so had overseen often mechanic working there and had many discussions about many things like oil change, synthetic or regular oil and also engine flush. What I learned there is for a newer engine metal fragments may turn up during the break-in period. But, it will mix with oil and during the oil change, the engine will very much get rid of that. This is the main purpose of oil change during the first service itself for two and four wheelers even though after that we change the oil during the regular intervals of 2500/3000 for two wheelers and 10,000km for four wheelers.

Now, if you are using your vehicle daily, regularly and getting service done with oil change regularly then there is very slim chance of developing slush inside the engine. Because of your usage daily, the engine would keep the oil running and warm. The engine flush actually cleans up the slush developed over the time due to the mixed residue. For this process, they actually add engine flush before changing the oil and let the engine run idle for 15 minutes. So, engine flush doesn't add much value to oil change process until its driven more than few thousands of km. But, getting it done will not do harm either, it will just add to your bill.

I own tvs Ntorq 125. 550kms done. 1st service done. 300 service charge (oil chage). Getting 53 kmpl as i am riding in eco mode (break in) didnt go above 65 yet. I haven't felt any engine harshness yet. I am planning to open the throttle after 1500kms.

How do the owners feel, what segment does it fall under? I'm looking for a vehicle that my parents can ride so I don't think 125cc is what I need, is there anything Ntorq offers over Jupiter parents would appreciate? As an example Jupiter's bigger tyre size and better suspensions make it a much smoother ride than Activa thereby not inflaming my father's back.
I own a Jupiter since 2014. was thinking to upgrade to Ntorq for the powerful engine, but found it less practical than Jupiter for family usage. Also, my full faced helmet doesnt fit in the boot, while Jupiter easily takes it. Hence, I am sticking my Jupiter for now. TVS should launch a Jupiter 125 with the Ntorq's engine.

Hello guys planning to upgrade to scooter from Honda Twister,

Stuck b/w Grazia and NTorq, please help

My dad's also gonna use it, as I am gonna buy dominar soon [emoji2]

              Main requirements:

              1.Good performance

Good handling and brakes, zero (minor) vibrations.

              1.Good mileage(atleast 40+)

my Twister is 7 years old and still gives 45+ always, funny thing is chain sprocket and clutch plates have gone long back...yet it delivers!!

              Great reliability and service.

Honda is also reliable but their service is shit...that's the only thing that's stopping me to buy another Honda.

I have wrote 3 complaints since last year because of their pathetic service, and they ****ing don't care.

              Please help me decide,

              Thanks[emoji1][emoji1]

Get this, Grazia is activa in a different body. Honda is busy in doing sales figures they have totally forget about the after sales, heck even showroom people don't care. Honda still using age old suspension on top selling activa 5G.

On the other hand nTorq is a ground up new scooter and check out those features it offers for that killer price! Also the spares are cheaper & check out those tyres!

In terms of performance u can check nTorq beats Grazia hands down. Infact i 'd suggest Suzuki Access over Grazia if not nTorq.

Hi guys, first time poster here..

I'm going to buy this vehicle tomorrow.. I have a small doubt.. There's a recent notification from the government that all 125cc or lower vehicles are required to have CBS/ABS now onwards.. Where does nTorq fit in this..? Everywhere I read, there is no mention of CBS or ABS or even TVS's SBS as a feature of this scooter.. Can someone shed some light on this?

Also, if CBS is to be added, what will be the cost of the kit?

It's 125cc and above. NTorq has front disc brake and the rule is not implemented yet in full swing.

ABS is mandatory for new above 125cc two wheeler launched after 1 April 2018 and Ntorq was launched before that so not compulsory to have ABS.

1 April 2019 on wards all two wheeler above 125cc sold at showroom irrespective of when launched will have to be ABS equipped.

It's nice to see the excitement for a scooter - this only means that TVS has done a fabulous job with NTorq.
Congrats on the new acquisition and I wish you miles of smiles with the peppy new scoot. [emoji4]
If there is anything that I can ask you from forum perspective - please wear a helmet and ride the scoot smoothly.
PS - This is based on the experience of seeing scoots ridden like crazy with No Mirrors and full throttle.

I’ve been these scooters from last 8 years.. Started with Mahindra Rodeo, then onto TVS Wego. I was quite impressed by the all metallic and body weight distribution of Wego. It was the main reason I opted for another TVS scooter this time. The moment I did a test drive of NTorq I realised it’ll be the same experience I had with Wego if not better.

There’s always one cardinal rule I follow.. Don’t go out without a helmet if you are going to sit on the vehicle for more than a minute.. And it actually protected my head a couple of times..
