Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF250
Yes it is stable at highway speeds , no issues. I have used mine OnePlus 5 on Delhi NCR roads.

Sharing some pic of the replaced visor. Only need to adjust the brake lever a bit nothing else.

1. > I have removed the rear mudguard flaps which gives it a clean rear look. Simply remove two screws, DIY. Next best to tail tidy. Will go for tail tidy post monsoon.
2. > Removed the saree guard for some clean look and few grams saved.
3. > Changed the indicator bulbs from halogen to simtac 360 led. You can directly replace with any cross pin led, simtac quality though is topnotch.
4. > Have installed a simtac universal flasher without switch version. It directly connects into indicator and back light under rear seat. Operate from stock indicator switch. Clean and simple. No tension of extended wiring and switch prone to water ingress.
5. > Mobile charger with mount, got one from flipkart and found a neat info regarding it's connection. This bike comes with a dedicated connection point for the charger since there is a genuine accessory from Suzuki. The connector is accessible after you remove right side flap. So basically you can just plug any generic mobile charger, no need for any tampering or jugaad.
6. > Wheel tape and tank sticker are genuine accessories, got installed at SVC. Hayabusa and gsx sticker are from. Amazon. There is also a tape set protection for Rs. 1400 from Suzuki which i didn't find worth. Will go for autographix tank grip for some tank protection.
7. > Now the pending update is for the visor which i have ordered and will be delivered by next week. It is also DIY and direct fit. No tampering.
Now only waiting for 2020 to get better for some much needed ride.
Let me know if any further info link required for any accessories.

I sticked with the manual for running in and it is just perfect.
And if you think that riding below 5k Rpm and you are having fun, then you will really surprised to see the performance above 6k Rpm

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF250
HI guys, Glad to share with you that i have completed 10000 kms with my Gixxy. SO far the experience is so good and i am sharing my views
Pros:
1. Engine:
a. It looks rock solid /reliable and seems to run forever. I have done 3 -500+ kms so far and i can vouch for its touring capabilities.(highway)
b. Almost no heating issues. I have ridden continuously for 2 hrs at 6k Rpm+ and there is no feeling of heat at all. Even in traffic the heat is very negligible.
c. Both mature and fun. The engine is very mature and user friendly at <5k rpm, parallely it is very fun to ride post 6k rpm
2. Comfort:
When riding on highways it is a pure bliss. The rider seat is so spacious and the ergonomics is also perfect.
3. Low maintenance:
All the 3 services costed me around Rs.800/-
4. Looks:
This is personal but every single time i come across my bike, I admire its beauty despite being 9 months with me.
5. Tyres:
To have upgraded from commuter segment, this 150 section radial tyre feels very sticky to me. And also it seems that it will wore out after 20000 kms only.
6. Stability:
The bike is unbelievably stable at high speeds and the brakes are good.
Cons:
1. Suspension setup:
In touring and commuting perspective, i feels that the suspension is hard to my liking. I am feeling stress on my back when ridden on average roads.
2. WIndblast:
Post 110 kmph it becomes very nasty due to wind. Unable to use the engines capability to cruise at higher spees.
Please share your views also.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer SF250
Hey Guys !
I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I am looking to purchase this motorcycle. One of the dealerships around my area in Goa is offering me test ride unit, BS4 (make 2019, registered 30th March 2020) variant of this motorcycle with 40k off on the on-road price. The odometer read 113.2. I took the motorcycle out myself and it felt really good but then I do not have any riding experience to compare with as I've only ridden the RE Classic 350. An old mechanic took the bike out and told me that the bike is performing good but will need some servicing as it hasn't been maintained by the showroom. The showroom is ready to offer me the service and the 5 year warranty on the motorcycle along with it.
Should I go ahead and purchase it ? What about the initial breaking in ? Since it is a test ride unit, it surely would've been revved really hard and I don't trust the odometer readings. Would it create problems in the long run if I do purchase the bike ?
