Run in till 1k km or 500km???

We did only 500Kms couldn't wait for long.

Rear tyre on the grey RTR was wornout, i replaced it with the same tyre.

but it looks like FZ type radial tyre

hahahhaa....lol... The tyre had wornout so bad.

that white apache looks very cool...

but here in jaipur they have only 2 colours, black and grey...it will take a month or so for the White...

so i have decided to wait for one more month for my bike...

and anyone from Delhi, plz tell me if white is available there???thnx...

1.2k KMS done.First service done boys and the bike has really opened up.Tires are a hassle in rain but I still was psychotic enough to maintain a speed of 80-90 and Im living to tell the tale. I'm changing the tires once they got worn out anyway.

Keep the feedback pouring in guys. Nice. Any comments on the ride quality, I found the 160 to be very stiff.

Superb pics,man.Can you please post the pics with 640*480 resolution from an external hosting website.The pics are not as showing as sharp as it should be in the xbhp attachment. And please go easy on the bike for the first 1.5k kms. Rev the bike in the gears but dont keep the rev too high and for a prolonged period of time.Just make sure the bike is made to work hard but in a more caring and subtle way.I know it's tuff to do that!!

And as bprags said is the ride quality similar or better than 160.Also i heard the handlebar to be a bit wider, Is it true?

Took a small test ride of the RTR 180 today.

From a dimensions perspective there isnt a large difference visually.
While astride, the bike feels a little spacious and planted.

Pushing the electric start brings the motor to life in a more audibly pleasing manner. I find the refinement levels on the bike same as that for 160. Which for me are fine. I never had vibration issues with any RTR.
Releasing the clutch the bike was very eager to launch, once in motion I didnt find the acceleration to be any greater than the 160 (This could very well be my perception, I couldnt see the speedo since it was disconnected).

The handling is amazing, I dont care for flickability but the bike was just so confident through the couple corners I came across during the test ride. Also, the braking is fantastic, especially the bite on the rear brakes is spot on.
On the way back from the test ride, I really let the throttle fly and I could see the bike building up speed very nicely, but due to heavy traffic had to keep tabs on myself.

Cant really comment on the performance, need a longer test ride on a suitable road , but the handling is really really good.

I agree that the pick up of the bike is same as comapared to the carb version of apache RTR refresh,I cant say about the manoeuvrability of the cuz I rode it on a straight road Ripped it till 95+ kmph (Guess) as the speedo was disconnected!
but the accelaration was quite fast as compared to apache rtr 160 carb!


My verdict: I love this bike!

Vibes are ALMOST non-existent! Its giving me a fuel efficiency of 45+,even after the first service,which is much more than what I expected or in fact quoted by the showroom guys!
