I completed 980kms . I am facing problems regarding the Gearbox. Its not at all smooth , infact it suddenly downshifts itself(if thtz not happenin ,atleast i feel that its happenin), i almost skid today due to this prb , my exams r thr this weekend so ill probably go to the SVC on sunday.i faced the Hicup prb as mentioned by chicane , but it doesnt bother me much as the gearbox prbComment

First Service Report!!!
Finally, first service of my bike done
. I am gonna share my views about RTR 180 in a different way...
# Date- Thursday, 27 August, 2009
# Amount Charged- 234 Rs.
# Total Distance covered- 700kms
# Mileage achieved-
Max 52 kmpl
Min 46 kmpl
# Longest Ride- 125 kms
# Top Speed achieved- 105 kmph
# Idle RPM-
(Before Service) 1.4 k
(After Service) 1.1 k
(Gonna adjust it tomorrow, trying to feel any difference between them)
# Stares, praises, appreciation and
Looks I got- Still counting !!! 
# Issues Faced-
(Physically) Slight wrist pain.
(Mentally) None.
# Looks- Distinct (City's First) !!!
# Acceleration- Awesome, no doubt!!!
# Braking- Accurate.
# Handling- God !!!
# Night Visibility- Fine.
# Exhaust Sound- Like Hip-Hop Music !!!
# Quality of Service- Good.
# Vibrations Felt- Less than RTR160 !!!
# False Gearing-
(Before Service) Not at all...
(Immediately After Service) Yes

Am planning to buy this bike in about a month ... so plz report any major issues about it . Would be helpful for me.

Immedietly After first service, i was having a difficulty in shifting gears as it was requiring more effort...
But after 50 kms, gearbox is back to normal...
NOW,I have no issues at all with this bike,GO FOR IT BRO...

Nops, False gears are a rare case in the 180. The only thing common with all the 180s is the engine refinement/tappet noise. Test ride one if you are OK with it. Other than this there are no other notable issues.Originally posted by abhishekdborngenius View Post@badbikerboy

Hey Guys I am planning to buy an RTR 180 pearl white. The only thing i wanna know is about the stability of the bike on high speeds on the highway. Coz my RTR 160 wobbles at top speeds when there is wind.
Has any one removed the saree gaurd? Please post pics. I took a test ride today at Bharath TVS. Mind blowing pick up and power. Awesome product from TVS.Comment
