So if you just got the service done just 150kms back, there is something defiantly wrong with service that was done last time, as you said they did do a timing chain job, I'm pretty sure they've messed up and not it right during the service, that's why it has failed I'm assuming.

Hope you have the service bill which they gave from the service, take that bill along with the bike, talk to senior manager instead of local entry level mechanics, try to fight it out that this issue was due to bad job done during last service.

Dont worry if they do try to take you for a ride, do post pics here of the parts what they say is broken, someone will surely guide.

I had got it done from a local mechanic and not the official service center .
So I don't think that would be possible

Ok, then its pretty much nothing else you can do now, try to talk to the same mechanic and request him in a friendly manner and try to ask him for help out of good will.
If not, only option is to get the engine opened up removed from other good mechanic.

Or you can go to service center, but there labor charges will be bit high, and they'll try to always push for engine rebuild, try to avoid and get the actual issue diagnosed first before jumping into rebuild.

The mechanic which I got the work done from was a trustable one have always adviced me good , I can blame this on maybe human error .
I am willing to look past that and somehow get the bike towed from current place to that once again , since I can't definitely trust a new mechanic with leaving my bike .
Hoping for some good news tomorrow morning. Will talk to a couple of mechanics tomorrow in the market and then see .
Thanks for the prompt reply in these late hours

So I took it to mechanic and he says the engine needs work , it ran dry ( without engine oil)
Am not sure how engine ran dry because in last service the oil that was drained was of right amount and I also didn't see any oil leakage at my parking .

So an update the engine has oil just fine but oil pump failed due to which oil didn't reach the upper part of engine.
Mechanic says that there should have been a different sound from engine but I couldn't make out any change in engine sound .
Anyway have to get the engine rebuilt.
                Thanks for the support

Oil Pump failure is common on engines that have not been properly maintained i.e hadn't had its consumables replaced promptly.

I'd suggest this be the right time for you to start working on your own motorcycle, at least after a rebuild done at the ASC. Cause from your report it seems that there's something fishy about your FNG as its highly unlikely for an engine still within warranty mileage to face a seizure from a failed oil-pump, especially one that has had its oil changed a hundred or so km's before.

As for sound, I recall listening to a video you'd shared a while ago(not the recent one), and your engine was noisy to begin with.

I had started my bike by servicing at asc for first year but I was not happy with the service .
After that I had got it serviced at an independent mechanic (around 1800-2000km) depending upon the mechanic to help me since am not a diy guy or didn't had too much knowledge.
This is a new mechanic I have tried out now,
                    Through a known person.
You are right I need to start working on my bike needing to go into details.
Regarding the noise I shared in a video some time back it was of timing chain which was fixed by adjusting the setting of the same and since last month that noise had gone away.

From what I can see the bike has lost compression and there seems to be some sort of issue with the crank. Don't worry about mechanics. Hero bikes are not tough to repair. Let him check what's wrong first.

Last Sunday my 2014 model Super splendor got theft . Need to buy one urgently.

                        1. 125cc
                        2. Thinking to buy super splendor again, 81k onroad price. Have shine and glamour (82k) in mind.
                        3. I believe that Hero bikes pays over the time.
                        4. Recently drove 2 year old shine , ride was smoother and comfortable than my super splendor. But shine had much vibration @ higher speed.
                        5. Now I understood Comfortable shockers pays well in long rides.
                        6. Need to travel 65 km everyday in this lockdown , usual travel 25km everyday.
                        7. Never ride more than 50km, but got skid few times in last 6 years. If front disk brakes makes ride safer, than would like them

                        8. Looks, don’t give a damn.

You should check out the new Hero Glamour. I test rode it. Decent bike. Finally gets a 5-Speed GB, a front disc (a good one) and a 100/80 rear tyre (long overdue). It's quite comfortable compared to the older model and the chassis seems like an improvement over the old one (which had weight concentrated on rear).

That would be a nice choice. You'd get a nicely performing long stroke engine that makes ample power and torque to cruise through city traffic and highways while cruising easily at 70km/hr speed. And nothing beats the unmatched comfort and stability that the chassis and rear monoshock on the Unicorn has to offer. And the BS6 version is lighter, making it a great choice. I had the 2016 model which was sold in Feb 2020 when I upgraded to a different bike. 43.3k kms of well serving. All it ever demanded was a nicely timed change of consumables and maintenance.

                                Hello there,

If you love Super Splendor, then the choice is very clear.
You can choose the updated as well as most refined 125cc Hero machine, which is none other than Hero Glamour 2020 BS6 model.
I would like to clarify this thing, from the introduction of the Super Splendor, Hero(previously Hero Honda) has been using the Glamour Engine as well as similar/same chassis for the Super-Splendor. Just with the fame of Splendor they had introduced this model to catch people's attention.
As of now, the Glamour looks the BEST-BUY for the money (90K in Karnataka as on July'2020 ), more over you will get a most-refined engine with the new fuel-saving 5-speed gear-box.
And a small mention: Hero Honda Glamour was the first bike to get Fuel Injection back in the early 2010s in the 125 segment. So you can choose Glamour over Super-Splendor.

                                Cheers,
                                Thippu
