Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
shakes ? do you mean the handlebar flaps/wobbles ? could be due to low tire pressure, bad tires (not necessarily worn out), wheel bend, cone set or the fork pipes not tightened properly at the t-bar or wheel bearings. and hopefully the forks were assembled correctly during the overhaul and not damaged.Originally posted by PrakhaR Maurya View PostI have changed front fork oil (motul) few weeks ago. After that bike shakes on deceleration. Fork oil volume (145ml) & viscosity is correct. I went to a good mechanic in city but he was unable to find the reason for shaking.. Help me guys
to find the exact problem.
that's all i can think of right now

Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
Guys, lately I'm feeling my CBZ is lacking power. I mean, while in third and fourth gears, I don't feel that pick-up/power which I used to get from her. Anything to do with clutch plates? Or is it something else? She's 11 years old.

Re: Hero Honda CBZ Classic
Finally changing the coil/CDI unit did the trick... now it starts and runs well.

that was the first thing to be checked. and i got this problem 1 yr back and from then on it continues every 2 months or so.. when the bike stops i remove the fuel line & the fuel flow is good.. remove the spark plug and hold it directly on to the head no spark which shows no power from the coil..
so they check the coil and electrical and then it runs fine for a month or 2 later again same problem for 10 day and the routine continues...
I've now asked them to change the coil nd electrical assembly today.. hoping this should solve the issue permanently
