Did you check the condition of the chain ? was it cleaned, lubed and adjusted ? If not, pls check this first, and then the timing chain/valve clearances.
Also have the petrol tank cleaned thoroughly if it wasn't and run one complete tank full of petrol with 30ml of 2T oil.
as nirvaana mentioned, the bottom end might require a clean up, including clutch plates inspection/clean up or replacement.

regarding handling, looks like the ball bearings/races in what is locally called 'cone set' in the steering column might have rusted/pitted and need replacement.

Vehicle does not sound smooth. Handling seems to be a bit hard
Thinking of going to an authorised service centre soon for a second opinion.

Thank you sid, air filter is clean and its a new sponge. There are no rust holes in the exhaust. But valve clearances, hmm thats new to me I'll ask him to check tomorrow.

I also assume that the engine oil was also left while the bike was standing for 2 yrs. That would have certainly formed sludge. Consult a good mech and see if it requires a bottom-end work.

Did you get the valve clearances checked and air filter cleaned out ? Also the exhaust/catcon could have been damaged (rust damage?) Check closely for any holes in the exhaust.

My CBZ was not used for two years. Almost all the parts were rusted. Some body parts were broken. Disc brake was jammed. Leaking tank. All the fuel dried up ( I dint know till now that its better to leave the tank empty when the vehicle is not in use). And the vehicle wont start. So left it for a general service few days back.
While servicing, I saw a thin dark layer that was formed inside the carburetor. So the mechanic scraped all that layer and cleaned it. Finally started the bike. But now, the bike sounds different. Its not the same exhaust sound that I used to hear. Why is that so?
Items replaced till now:
1. Accelerator cable.
2. Clutch cable.
3. Entire lock set (Ignition, petrol lid & seat lock).
4. Front Indicators.
5. Indicator flasher.
6. Front disc pads.
7. Disc break Oil.
8. Engine Oil.
9. Battery.
10. Petrol tube.
11. Petrol tap.
12. Rear break shoes.
So far the cost is Rs.3000 without labor.

Hi all, as said in my post previously, i have ordered some of the plastic body parts for my CBZ Classic from safexbikes.com
It took them 7 days to deliver through Professional Couriers from delhi.
The sad thing is that I found some of the parts broken in the transit. Its evident by looking at the smashed boxes that the courier guys mishandled them. I can ask for a replacement but what guarantee that the replaced parts will not be broken again in transit? So i myself fixed those broken pieces with Araldite.
Packing was poor, no protection. Just placed the items in separate cardboard boxes and sent it. I ordered 6 items but received 5.
Now what can i say about this purchase! Be wary guys. This is just a tip.

Update:
Received a mail from safexbikes.com that there was a delay in sending one item which they will ship soon. I also told them how poor the packing was and they said they will take care of it in future.
Product quality is Satisfactory for a non-OEM. Not bad.
SO... finally found out that the website is not a scam You guys can order from this store but as i said, plastic & glass parts can get broken in the transit. The risk is up to you.
They have all the body parts for CBZ and other models as-well. Please check the link and see.
