I have not liked any of the new bullet's handlebars. The old super flat ones were awesome, and for variety, I got apehangers made for myself. I'm sure medium sized (taller than TB, shorter than Street bob) apehangers will add to the overall comfort of the bike. Do you remember the red 350 std we saw at Malik's garage, that one had such apehangers, and they were sweet. I think they compromised on height and added width to make it more comfortable, which is a strategy I will surely apply when I get bars made.Originally posted by gsferrari View PostFour strokes move my body, two strokes move my soul.

I have to disagree with the LB seat comfort. They are too soft and spongy, and on a long ride they offer no support, causing a lot of pain to the erm.. under-tailbone area.Originally posted by prabhubravo View Post^^ thats correct the handle bars are a bit wide. When I rode my bike to office today I noted it. Also Im forced to sit at the back of the seat and felt its good. but the Seats of 500LB was much comfortableFour strokes move my body, two strokes move my soul.

Nope, the LB we have does not have split seats, its too soft. In the city or for shorter rides, it is tolerable, but on longer rides it gets painful.Originally posted by prabhubravo View Post^^ Are U speaking about the Split seats ?

has anyone got a CL enfield yet on this forum? i am supposed to be getting mine coming thursday. made the balance payment for the bike last saturday (made the booking on nov 3rd). need to pay for the crash guard when i take delivery.
the offroad silencer and the replacement thing (not sure what its called) for the saree guard will take couple of months after ordering. i thought of waiting till the first couple of service before deciding on the offroad silencer. ordering the saree guard replacement thing though.
will be interesting to graduate from a kinetic honda to an enfield
riding a classic 500...

Helo guys.
Been quite a long time i logged in to Xbhp.
I have booked the Classic 350 black.
So now i can finally be in the bullet club. lol.
though I am in two minds about the classic and the t'bird.
Both seem to have a similar price tag and same engine.
While the classic is expensive by 3 grand and the extra premium shelled out is used by enfield to remove vital parts like a telescopic oil damped suspension and a much needed rev counter and fuel guage not to mention the hideously small and unusable rear seat with wat looks like an undwire from a bra for a grab rail. its supposed to be a grab rail not a grab string. lol.
Its safe to say that the classic is more of a Standard bullet with a different paint job and some classic stickering.
These are some of the issues I thought i would point out. but then theres the exclusivity and the harley - ish look done by the chrome and the broad and short zappers. and Ofcourse who can forget the 55/60 headlight to light up the street ... which i especially like ... as i dont like getting overpowered by car headlights. lol.
All in all i like the bike ... but then i saw the thunderbird ... which is technically speaking a little superior with a more usable and urban equipment and more importantly a shorter waiting period. The classic has 40-45 days waiting the guy told me. its gonna be a long wait.
So guys with a thunderbird or who have ridden a thunderbird or who plainly just admire the thunderbird .. please give me ur views on it.
Is it comfertable for loong trips with its high mounted handle?
Does it handle well (in relation to the classic ofcourse) on corners?
Can it carry ur girlfriend without accidentally droping her at the signal?
And finally, does it dismantle itself on its own as the years pass?
So on that bombshell ... im ending this gastly essay ... hoping to get a good advice from u guys cause i have like a month or so to think between the two.

Finally Booked myself 350 Classic Red :P due to arrive by 1st week of Jan.
BTW how much does a Bend Silencer cost ? Shouldn't this be standard price from EF? Cause my dealer says it cost from 3-3.5k and I saw someone reporting 2.5 somewhere else ...Siddharth Menon Twitter sigpic

yes even my dealer told me it will cost around 3-3.5k ... but i think its worth it ... rather we dont have a choice ... as the normal silencers that fit the electra or thunderbird are not directly compatible to the classic due two some changes in design .. thats wat the dealer told me

Well I noticed missing retro accessory comparing to international models.
It certainly adds to look and I don't believe it should be really expensive to ship along. I hate when manufactures treat Indian market so different!!Siddharth Menon Twitter sigpic
