    • The fabricator in faridabad is MetaFab, and its damn expensive to purchase from em. Though the good thing is that you can adjust the stand to fit any bike.

      • b2 industries tail tidy

Thanks to the advise from Farfromnormal a.k.a Ashish, I picked up the B2industries Fender eliminator.
From the look of it - it looks like it can be easily fabricated locally, just need to ensure the guy is skilled and uses quality materials.

Anyone in NCR wanting to give it a try.

The irony is all my accessories are getting delivered and the bike is atleast a month away.

If there is one thing I hate about the Ninja - it is the rear fender. I have already picked up the fender eliminator and am now looking for the rear hugger.
I doubt you will be able to use the FZ one. The best thing to do is get one fabricated.

It is available on the net but is too expensive.

Does anyone know of any website selling carbon fibre rear huggers

          • Absolutely Fantastic DIY by Bluevolt......

I think everyone can use the detailed instructions to remove their front Number plates and I would say it's a ridiculously difficult process to remove them

But I wonder why you choose the windscreen for the sticker are you not allowed to put it on the front fender in banglore?

Bangalore cops can get a little nasty. I have had trouble while riding by 1959 bullet which has the numberplate on the front fender. It was tough explaining that was how the bike came in 1959.

NCR riders - howz it here, any trouble if you put the numbers on the front fender?

Hey guys another problem with my bike. Betweeen 8000rpm & 9000rpm there is a chiming sound comming from my bike in both 2nd & 3rd gears. I dont know wether it is from the engine or some loose nut/screw. At 10000, 11000 & 12000 rpm the sound dissapears. I am quite worried about this sound. Any advice? I have spoken to the service manager in pune & he is comming to mumbai on friday morning & will inspect my bike. Any of you guys hear any sound form your bikes? - Thanks.

Thank you buddy! I kept a special eye on those rubber dampeners when taking out the mirrors

Thank you MG! A couple of hours, but absolutely worth it. And one gets comfortable with the bike too after opening it up!

OMG, you are the most organised and meticulous guy I've ever come across. Looks like you have adopted the Japanese 5S principle to the max. Awesome stuff sir. Hats off to you

P.S, Now if I could only meet you in person
Thanks, but I am not a very meticulous guy in everyday life though there are times when I chose to be. One has to be careful with a bike like that!
And you're welcome to pop in anytime - preferably the weekends, though...

Thank you Satyen! Great suggestion, but even if I did create a new thread, it will get flooded pretty soon

I feel (my personal opinion and only mine) that the windscreen sticker looks better than the fender one! And yes, I thought I might have a run-in with the cops here.

Nope, no sound. What kind of sound is it? Are you able to exactly pinpoint the source of the sound? Did you check all your bolts and stuff on the body? Side cover properly fastened into the grommets? Something loose in your under seat storage? Spare bulbs/fuse loose under the seat? Chain? Fuel tank vacuum lock whistle?

Could be anything, but if you know where it is coming from, it will be easier to isolate and rectify.

This could be a case of loose tappets. Maybe they need adjustment..i better leave this to the seniors though
