Today there was a fcuktard (nsfw post) who was checking if my bikes handle were locked. I saw this from a distance...patiently waited thinking he shall go away. He swung his leg over and started reversing the bike...
I was like **** ! Someones stealing my ride...i ran my lungs out to him and he smiled while getting off the bike.
"If the handle lock werent on I would have atleast known what it really feels like"

I was like... hell yeah, but theres a reason why its on and its for numbnuts like you who just give me the scare of my life not to mention threaten my bike with scraches all over.

I mean just look at this. The guys went to the extent of removing your Bike Cover ...LMAO....sorry.
I have a new problem. These beggar kids start swarming the bike at a university circle in my town. Now these are kids who DONT listen ! They touch it, they rape it...and you cant do shit about it. I tried talking to them. I even gave a ride to one of them and promised a ride if they behaved with the bike. But fcuk...nothing helps.

Ok, I aint a complaining ***** but life doesnt have to be unneccesarily complicated either ! I have a bike...I should be able to ride it. Period
If we get annoyed with uncivilized attitude around, then we are sure to get annoyed at least once in a day. Thats how it is. I have also come across situations when gears are shifted in my bike when I come back to the parking to pick it up!

water wont clean something that sandpaper will. But yeah u can use water...

Problems aint harmful ? Does the extreme case of getting your bike stolen considered the only way of harming the bike ? Cause clearly the sucker who scrached Vishwas Ninja ( mind you its a footlong subway scratch ) did harm the bike

            • This is my first post on XBHP........I have been following this thread and the one in the news section since the day they were created and I must say that BLUEVOLT , TENHUT and Praveen (Guess startrek) have done a wonderful job letting us know about their exp while riding the 250R..... KEEP THE POSTS COMING GUYS !!

I have read a lot of material on the net abt the 250R and there is just nothing wrong with this motorcycle "its perfect". Only 2 things are stopping me from buying one. First how BAJAJ is going service these machines...... back in 2008 I owned the P220 Fi and I was thoroughly disappointed with the way BAJAJ treated their premium segment vehicles. The mechs were least interested in doing their job properly and if you told them abt a problem they could never find a solution. It took one severe breakdown on one of my riding trips to convince me to sell the vehicle.

The other problem that I see with the 250R and I say this with my exp of riding the 220Fi is the fuel. There were a number of occasions on my riding trips I could not find a petrol pump selling either SPEED or POWER the 220 managed fine without it but I don't know how the Ninja would fare in this department.

I do agree with BLUEVOLT that any bigger motorcycle is a complete waste in India and the number of morons that are there on the roads, you can never and I mean never leave your ride alone.

Two motorcycles is the need of the hour one for everyday use and the other for the sheer bliss felt on OPEN ROADS .

                        • That must be very frustrating, Conrad. I went through a similar phase (not for the bike, but the showroom to open), though I was very lucky to get a place early in the line and get my delivery much faster.

Hope you get your bike very soon.

                          • Rajiv Bajaj's interview states that even they were sceptical about sales initially so they ordered about 150 bikes per month only. But from this month onwards they are ordering 200 bikes per month, and the supply to demand gap will be bridged by april or so. So more wait is on the cards for people whove booked, and are booking.

My offerings to the gods of speed -

                            - KTM Duke 200
                            - Yamaha RXZ 5 speed

If they see the demand and supply, its in pathetic condition people are waiting for months to get this bike even if its over-priced.So they should respect their customers and start the production here in India rather than importing from Thailand and paying 80% tax!

While I can relate to your outburst, I must point out (again) that the 250R is not overpriced by any means, though it is an expensive motorcycle. There is no 80% duty involved here - pre-VAT price is a mere Rs. 2.39 lakhs, a far cry from Rs. 4 ~ 4.5 lakhs if the Ninja 250R came the CBU way.

That makes it EQUAL to the US prices if you take the current motorcycle tax deduction scheme launched under the US stimulus package into consideration. Remember that our version is the FI one instead of the US carb, so it will cost higher than the $4000-4400 sticker price.

Bajaj clearly underestimated the demand, but I don't blame them considering the kind of market India is. It could have gone either way.
