  • This one looks killer...I'd seen one yesterday@ Dream Bikes, Pune...supposed to be made specially for Ninja by Keiti ...its got a transparent+black combo, with a pic of a Ninja warrior...was decently good looking, expect for the fonts in which 'Ninja' was written...

Hey Sree, in Indian conditions the K&N filter needs cleaning more frequently. Even more if it is an exposed (universal) filter. The cleaning kit is very good and totally VFM. It will last at least 8-10 cleaning instances.

P.S. Don't go by the no. of kms to clean the filter. Remove the filter once every 4k or 5k kms and check if cleaning is required. If the filter is black then it needs cleaning. Also remember to clean the air filter box with a wet cloth and remove any foreign particles that may have entered.

I am not concerned that I will sell it off later...the bike needs a tankpad since it doesnt have one.
To be honest I dont think there are many out there wanting to buy a Ninja second hand so it might take me a long time to sell it off as I aint in any sort of hurry or pressed for funds.
Untill then..the bike is mine...and gets the appropriate treatment it deserves

Yup, airfilter removing/cleaning is not a big deal. We can check that at any time and clean it. But, airfilter box cleaning needs some efforts. We can't put our hand inside and clean. The only option is to remove it & clean and that is not easy as well. So any DYI details could help here to try.... That thank pad looks pretty good and decent

                        • Hi guys,
sorry for a late update about hyderabad ninja owners meet
we had a meeting on 16th may

will describe about the meet was all about in short

this was the first official meet for ninja owners in hyderabad!!!

it was organised by Mr. Neeraj Sharma (south Head for marketing, bajaj)(i think)

he discussed the about kawasaki and its product on offer to customers world wide and
also hinted the products that could foray into indian market. that may include ninja 650r, ZX6R or z1000 (any one would make it into market by june or late) and he did showed these three bikes precisely. and asked the people in the meeting about, which bike did appealed them the most (probably it was Ninja ZX6R).

later on he went asking about the accessories there would like buy now or in near future. and the accessories were the bike cover, rear paddock stand, OEM Tank pad and rear seat cover. then he showed the bike cover, the cloth of the cover was same as my cars cover. which i am using for my car. i dont know exact about the material used but its quiet soft but not as soft as cloth. and still water resistent to some level, and cover is priced around Rs900. i think its a good deal. i liked the bike cover very much.

he also told the OEM ninja tank pads are also going to come and would be available in all PBK service centres in about a week or two. those who are thinking of going for OEM pads can wait for sometime and do contact your nearest service station once for updates (again for pricing of pads its around 2k to 2.5k i think )

was a bit excited and confused at that time

and here are photos of Hyd owners meet

                          Cheers!!!

p.s. sorry for gramatical mistakes (suffering from sore throat and head ache)

                              • They say the bike has got 4 litres of fuel left when the low fuel indicator is on.
It is 4 litres from the time the indicator starts blinking once in few kilometers or from the time it is constantly on?
