HELL NO NO NO NO...180 is the one which goes in my 600.Originally posted by invincible2110 View Posthey ten: I know its not the right thread..but many congratulations for your blade. The bike must have felt to be stable in a straight line because of the extra weight and the tire width. It only feels so...the bike doesnt because stable in reality..
stability is majorly due to chasis and suspensions.
You will kill the handling, the mileage, the acceleration, the top end and just about everything that you bought the Ninja for
Thanks for the blade wishes..

I have done 3500 KM. It should help the engine to breath better, but I don't expect any increase in performance. Not getting the time to clean the filter, so though about K&N. May be I am lazy too. I got it for 4800/-. The whole day I didn't get the time to change the filter. Has to do it for the Sunday morning ride. Will let you know the feedback....Originally posted by GuRpReEt SiNgH View PostHow much Kms have you done on your bike? Even i wanted to do the same (K&N air filter); do share your experiences after you are through with the change. Also let us know the cost such a change.
Good LucK!!!

just for those interested in upsizing. you can fit a 150 profile tyre without modding. And if you really wanna experiment with the handling of the bike, then go for the FZ-16 rear tyre, as its cheap, affordable and please do not exceed 140KMPH on the tyre.. or the max speed its rated for.
Or just leave the bike stock, and look for stickier rubber from other companies like michelin or dunlop or bridgestone.
My offerings to the gods of speed -
- KTM Duke 200
- Yamaha RXZ 5 speed

one problem i have been facing with the ninja is with the instrumentation.
With the RESET button easy to press, Thrice it has happened to me that someone out of sheer curiosity of checking the bike or due to their notorious nature have reset my trip counter when parked.
is there any solution to this problem? it gets quite irritating when people do this.

CARDBOARD!Originally posted by TenHut View PostFor the love of riding please do not buy jackets and safety stuff from ProBiker.
The armour you speak of which keeps jumping around in the jacket, is no armour at all. Its cardboard.
Return the jacket if possible and buy a branded jacket..aStar/joe rocket/frank thomas/ et all
That ProBiker guy should be shot for duping people !

Why did someone not shoot him already (lol)

Sue him guys, take him to the consumer court

Ownership Experiences
hi all,
Sorry for the delay in reply.
MY last post was from Mysore, but recently got posted to Bangalore on a long term transfer , so now a part of the bangalore group.
Finally a 12year old dream is fulfilled.On Friday, 14th , i got my bike.
To Start with the details, i was not able to sleep on Thursday thinking that tomorrow is the day, when a dream will come true. slept for few hours and got up at 5.20am. got ready and went to the office at 7:30am, just so that i may leave early to pick up ma bike.this was the first time in the entire career of 3yrs working that i had reached so early(otherwise i follow a principle "come late to the office, and make up by leaving early"
)
Left office at 1pm to lalbagh to buy helmet first (safety first or fear of being caught by police
).took bus, auto and had to walk quite a deal to reach lalbagh from electronic city.. got the LS2 for 3300...
.
Reached khivraj at 4:30pm. saw my bike
. i was thrilled.
Prasanna explained all details, and i rode out of the showroom at 6pm, but to my disappointment it started raining.I went to the nearest filling station at old airport road.
I saw heads turning and at the filling station , cleaner guy came to me just to clean the bike with some cleaning liquid in his hand. i knew he just wanted to touch the bike and have a good feel, but my denial disappointed him. finally gave the energizer (91 octane) to ma baby and went rolling back on it.
Few observations made on the road - people try to come as near to you just to look more closely to the bike
, every one pointing my out about the lights and i in return giving them a nod and a smile.
keeping to a limit of 4k rpm is a tough task although i am giving my best shot to maintain it.
Till now done 180kms within the Bangalore city, more of that on hosur road and the flyover too, and is satisfied that this bike is worth for every penny spent.
As for the other updates, i have ordered the Xena xx6 disc lock alarm from eBay, soon i frnd of mine coming to India shall hand it over to me.
Desperately waiting for the bike cover to arrive at the khivraj,( taki meri bike ko kisi ki nazar na lage
)
That was all for the time being... shall be contributing more later...
Being new to Bangalore, shall look for fellow ninja riders to provide me with pointers where i can run in my bike freely ( without bumper to bumper traffic) as i am bored of hosur road.
Just PM me or call me at , if any one wants to ride together.Last edited by vkuchhal; 05-19-2024, 12:58 AM.RIP Marco
