        • Bajaj localising Rear tire hugger?

While taking delivery of my Ninja, I asked Prasanna about accessories available. He told that the bike cover is available for Rs.1500/-. But, as per Bandhav it costs less than 1k!

When I queried him particularly about the rear tire hugger, he said Bajaj is working with Kawasaki and will be coming out with a rear tire hugger soon!

Bandhav, can you please confirm this?

That's odd. When i spoke to Mr. Jankiram he said the cover costs around 1k (900 odd to be precise). I had also asked Mr. Jankiram on the accessories part and there were no plans in the near future according to him. But good to hear that Bajaj is trying to bring down some aftermarket parts for the ninja. We just have to wait and watch now.

Hmmm. Some good news at last. But i am aghast at how they can charge something without a receipt. all the best and keep us posted. Hope they do refund the money. (Is this 6k the excise duty charges which just went up?)

As far as I know the cover they are selling looks like the one for an RE. I have used it before I got my Ninja cover delivered from ebay (Rs 710 including shipping). The RE cover fits well and cost only 180 bucks @ JC Road.

So guys if its a Silver color cover check before getting ripped off.

I'll try to post pics of both the covers for a better idea.
