The next thing on my list is knee pads, planning to get Alpinestar Knee protectors on payday

I am not sure about the cramster part..The DSG Nero jacket which i use is a combination of mesh and leather and its totally worth it. Have found out that its the best in the business when it comes to riding in heat as it is perforated and kind of gives u a very cool feeling because it retains the sweat and the sweat acts like a coolant

If you are planning to purchase a knee guard check out if the knee guard is tight for you. Well on my trip to Bhutan, my fellow rider had a serious accident and he hit the ground with his knee. He was wearing a cramster bionic knee guard. Thou it absorbed the impact, it slipped off because it was loose. So he lost some paint on his knee just bcos his knee guard was not tight. There is no way you can wear the bionic knee guards tightly bcos the contact area of the strap is small especially at the shin area. Guess the Alpine star reflex knee guard is a better option as you can wear it much tighter due to a higher contact area. Well havent seen an Alpine star bionic knee guard..so cant comment on it. So get a tight knee guard which fits you snugly instead of loose one which offers better protection. Talking out of experience here..

Yea..its been a long wait and now I feel it was worth it..Prasanna explained about few importnat maintenance tips and handed me the bike. It was like a dream thereafter. I straightaway went to SHELL petrol bunk and got the fuel tank filled with super.

Yes..It definetely catches the attention. I might have convinced few poeple to buy this while talking to them..

I didn't ride it much last night. Just about 50Kms. But I can feel the difference. It was so hard to control the urge to go and taste the real power of it.

My friends are loving it too. I couldnt say no to their demands for a ride. But only after giving them a brief about the break in that I handed it to them..

I might not have felt the power, but definetley the handling aspect. I loved it. It is steady like an arrow. The pillion seat is just made for an occasional ride with a "GIRLFRIEND". Nobody else. It was verry uncomfortable with my friend sitting behind. It was like i was getting pushed over the tank. But you are gonna love it with your GF. So adds on to the reasons of getting this in your garage.

My small tour was limited to going to going around city. My friends place in koramangala, then to chinnaswamy stadium, and back to home near HAL airport.
more later.. got to run to a meeting..

Totally agree... the only reason Breezer would be better is because it is a Mesh Jacket, which means wind will pass thru and you wouldn't feel like a Tandoor during the humid Mumbai Summers.

I got a Raptor coz they dont have a Green Pulse and Bangalore summers are not that bad, but still I can smell myself burning at Red lights

A Nero Mesh described by Jakrap below could be good too.

Thanks for the pointer. Although I've got a Cramster Jacket and pair of gloves, I didn't find the cramster knee guard that good. Although its compartively Cheap, I am sure the aluminium part would screw up my babe.

I am waiting for non-Bionic Alpinestar to be in stock here, coz I can wear it inside trousers so can be used for daily use.

Alpinestars Defender Knee Protectors - Rs2,990.00

Anybody got any feedback about non Bionic Knee guards???

                • Guys is it mandatory for a bike to come with a Saree guard? I'm asking this coz the Honda twister CB comes without a saree guard. Can't bajaj provide the ninja without the Saree guard?

Yes, I thought maybe the showroom display piece didn't have it but I'm seeing a few everyday outside the pan shop&around my place too-none of them had it till now.
Wonder whether it is available as an accessory or something?

even the Ninja 250 there is without a saree gaurd, and i guess they should have mentioned that the product shown may be different from the one available for dilivery (something like this )

Even i thought so but the few seen on road are also without the saree guard and i simply can't assume that each one of them would have got the guard removed
