lets plan out a In city meeting this sunday on 31st Oct for ZMR in mumbai.would help us know the problems in bike and also will be good to see u all ..we have just been writing all this while. let me know you thoughts..

Let see how many ppl would be interested in this meet.. I can see lot of mods in those bikes like broader tires racing stripes to mention a few which is worth discussing..

couple of days back, did a trip on a ZMR (pending second service). Kolkata - Assansol - Kolkata (local ridding in Durgapur also) a total of 630kms ..

I had a pillion weighting around 85kg and i maintained 95+..

It was a night ride on NH2 (under GQ), road was dark, it was drizzling through out the trip, and weather was damm cold..

* We got over all mileage of <25kpml
* Stock lights were good for nothing.. It was hard to detect if its on or not. Rode most of the time while pressing the pass switch..
* Stock engine oil (which was new for the trip) sucked big time.. Within 100kms (at panagarh) bike was really harsh and vibrating a lot.

* Meter was awesome.. had a P220 with us which does 152 as top, when compared side by side, at P220 doing 40 -> ZMR is 36, at P220 doing 70 -> ZMR doing 63/64.. Percentage of meter error was increasing with higher speed..
* Real time mileage indicator is also great.. 110 -> 23/22, speed at 100 -> 28, speed dropped to 90 -> mileage up there at 30/33 .

frankly speaking, over all, Stock ZMA feels better to ride than stock ZMR .. Then again, its just a personal opinion..
