    I am getting around 45...and most of the owners are getting in 40's only..

    as for the servicing is concerned it is not costly..in servicing you will shed out Rs. 250 approx. this does not include any extra spares parts...yes, spare are costly...but maintenance is less

        i am getting 38-42. the cost of long term ownership would be cheaper than 220, though initially u have to shell out more.

        but since the spare parts of zmr are expensive and to add the FI system is more complex than the carburetors

          Yes have read about the FI system being more complex and only the authorised service shop can deal with it. But that is ok, I feel. In 6 yrs of pulsar ownership the only time I was stranded in the middle of nowhere was due to punctures (which shouldn't be a problem on tubeless!) so shouldn't be a problem, I feel.

          The mileage figures are, I guess, a little higher than P220 .

          Is there a spare part list anywhere in this thread (searched but didn't get anyone)?

          Just wondering, if anyone's had a major problem with the bike (without being involved in an accident?) or has any bike developed niggles as such? (since parts availability is an issue the bike developing problems on its own could be problematic).

                  I read that Hero Honda used the PGMFI in the glamour in 2006 & it hasn't given any problems so I assume the FI wouldn't be problematic here as well!

                      was away...........

                      I was away feom xbhp and was in some trips..........Thanks for the feedbacks......... So the heating is there in all ZMRs..........right?
                      So, I am now sure that my bike is fine in this aspect.........

                      But I think its an issue HH should dealt with when they go for an upgrade.

                      I was using HH oil till last week........and I had some roughness in my engine............ A little roughness was contributed by my fairings.......After it got tigthened there was nt heavy vibs and roughness of engine was also lowered. But there was a roughness. Last week I wanted to change my oil to semi synth. Due to unavailabilty of the same I wanted to test Castrol Power1 oil for atleast 1000 kms. But the result was good. My engine is performing pretty good and great. So I ll be testing semi synth........I think it ll make my engine like butter
                      started riding a motorized cycle on a chetak classic.
                      Learned to accelerate on Y RX100&135.
                      Learned not to fall down, the patience to heal wound on knee and to ride long on a classic Pulsar 150(still running)&180.....
                      Planning for more dream destinations on a new ZMR

                            Yeah even my ZMR was giving that sound I think its not good.. they charged me for fixing that....

                            Also guys one problem I am facing a problem now a days occasionally that is whenever I try to start my bike My digital meter switches off completely and then the time gets resetted to 1.00am and I lose my trip .... what is going on ... Has anyone else faced this issue ???
