My bike's tire sits on 17 inch alloys and not 18 inch alloy. So, no way.Originally posted by fast_ferocious View PostSay him I'm ready to sacrifice my chain guard for a bigger tire !!
How far are those two spots from Gandipet ?

Oh boy ...! That is one heck of a fall ... how come the tank got damaged that too from the top ? (you can tell me through a P.M)
I hope the rider is safe .. because bike will be as good as new very soon
My guess : He would end up paying ~6k after claiming insurance offcourse !2003 - 2009 : Pulsar 150 Classic (Sold)
2009 - Present : Pulsar 220 Dtsi
2009 - Present : Honda Activa
2016 - Present : KTM Duke 390

Last edited by antz.bin; 10-02-2010, 02:30 PM.Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Thats not my friend. Actually it's my brother's friend's friend. Neither I met him nor did I see the bike anytime.Originally posted by chicane1879 View PostDamn, that's a very nasty crash. How is your friend doing now?
No idea how the tank got damaged. The owner wants to sell the bike and gave my brother's friend and offer of 90K. I adviced him not to pay more than 50K for that bike.Originally posted by smoker n doper View PostOh boy ...! That is one heck of a fall ... how come the tank got damaged that too from the top ? Even after insurance, I think it will be around 15K from the pocket of the owner.Originally posted by antz.bin View PostDid i see broken clip-ons?

The bike was 6 months old and still on a temporary number.
What I am wondering about is not the total cost of repair, but the total time taken by the SVC to 'import' the parts from Delhi and get the bike repaired. It will really suck big time. From variable Bhps to a constant 17.6 Bhp.

Same here. I wouldn't take it even for free. Reason: Minor parts for my own ZMR are taking weeks and months to come, then all the parts for that ZMR will take agesOriginally posted by rakesh_zmr View PostI would not buy that for 30k either!! You can never say what weird way it turns out after the operation....
. HH, are you listening?
