My bike's tire sits on 17 inch alloys and not 18 inch alloy. So, no way.

Either ways, what do I do with broader tires and all when my bike itself is waiting for its spare parts.

Cost estimate ki boli lagaiyye. My take: approx 50 K for repairing

                  • Oh boy ...! That is one heck of a fall ... how come the tank got damaged that too from the top ? (you can tell me through a P.M)
I hope the rider is safe .. because bike will be as good as new very soon

My guess : He would end up paying ~6k after claiming insurance offcourse !

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Thats not my friend. Actually it's my brother's friend's friend. Neither I met him nor did I see the bike anytime.

No idea how the tank got damaged. The owner wants to sell the bike and gave my brother's friend and offer of 90K. I adviced him not to pay more than 50K for that bike.

Even after insurance, I think it will be around 15K from the pocket of the owner.

The bike was 6 months old and still on a temporary number.

What I am wondering about is not the total cost of repair, but the total time taken by the SVC to 'import' the parts from Delhi and get the bike repaired. It will really suck big time.

Same here. I wouldn't take it even for free. Reason: Minor parts for my own ZMR are taking weeks and months to come, then all the parts for that ZMR will take ages . HH, are you listening?
