    Its true........change oil for 2000 kms if you re not a regular city rider.......I do so as my city rides re very less.... For a city rider 1000 or 1500 kms is a considerable period to change oil.

    BTW Mohsin, HH claims that their oil is guaranteed for 6000 kms........My SVC supervisors always written OIL TOPUP in JOb Sheet for service. Then I requested them "please dont do topup, change the Oil". But I had done my 4th service in another SVC. The superwisor there told me even that if HH recommend so, its better to change oil in every service.

      Best way is to change oil at every service.

      what is an oil additive, yesterday they added a 50 ml tin with engine oil?

        thanks for the infor...but based of my exp of ZMA-R model the engine oil burns quickly if you do a good trip of 1500-1800 kms. So it was a must to change the oil.

        what i have seen in ZMR is, as this is a oil cooled mill it keep the oil healthy and in good quantity as well, so thats why HH also recommends the oil change every alternate servicing. I have talked to one of the HH engineers here in bangalore and not the regular service center guys, he also recommended that ZMR is not the usual carb mill and needs oil change every alternate service even if we do long rides.

        yet its one own style to change the oil, but as far as my exp goes for the past 8K kms i am happy with an alternative service oil change and top-up...
        2 wheels move your soul but it takes a long ride to actually realize it....tough-tourer

          Probably something like the ones in the snaps.
          Yes they did it in my bike also.

          Not aware of OIL BOOSTER

          But FUEL INJECTOR is given since FUEL in rainy season is mostly impure.
          Hence it is given @ Full Tank for better fuel efficiency.
          34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

              Can anyone post a photo of the ZMR with it's seat removed and showing its taillight's connection with the harness?
              What do I intend to do? Stuff ZMR drivetrain into an Ambition chassis and watch others run scared!

                i know nulon..not needed....u can easily skip this...

                its better to change the oil at every service but not at 6k kms.. comapnies say this way 6k and all ...but by the time u come to paid services it starts giving issues and then u have to shell from pocket....plus a new engine oil and filter clean keeps engine at its best...

                        Since the bike has done 10,000 km, when should be the disc pad be changed(also the brake fluid), as of now they are performing well.

                          chck brake fluid level..just top up with proper grade...dot3 or dot4.... disc pads do ask service guys ...they shall be best able to tell u.. depends on personal usage....mine on zma lasted 26 thousand kms for some others it was as low as 13k

                            if you look at the brake pads from the front portion you can see the life left in them, you can take a guess on that...

                              Trip...all ZMR's in bangalore

                              Guys, i was just thinking about a get together and a nice 1 day ride with all the ZMR owners in bangalore so that we can get to each other better and accompany in other rides as well.

                              What say, btw other ZMR owners are more than welcome from other cities...

                                Accident in ZMR

                                Friends,

                                Yesterday while returning home from office around 7:45 PM had a terrible accident.

                                A man around 55 years cycled from a bylane straight into the middle of the road. I could not presume that and hit him bang on.

                                The man fell down and was hurt badly. Felt sorry for him. My bike and myself are absolutely lucky to be saved. God saved me.

                                The accident was deadly terrible but everyone was somehow managed to survive. I was riding @ 60kmph-60kmph, even applied BRAKES but everything just happened in a moment. Fell on the right side.

                                Going to service centre now to check up things.
                                34567 kms and ZMR sold :(
