    As a matter of fact from JUN-10 or JUL-10 onwards for Bikes ICICI Lombard is given 100% coverage on Plastic parts.
    For others it will come into effect after Renewal.

          No, the fork tuning is different. Just imagine theT-cone to be something that connects the two forks together, below the handle bar.

          If your bike is less that 6 months old then 100% on metal. Else 85-90% on metal and 50% on plastic.

            this is like a boon for the ZMR owner's. I can be rest assured now even though i dont want to crash my bike intentionally
            2 wheels move your soul but it takes a long ride to actually realize it....tough-tourer

              Tyre Issue

              Friends,

              Probably most of you in this Forum are aware that I am having some harrowing time regarding TYRE Pressure.
              Almost every THREE days the Rear Tyre becomes flat.

              This started almost from initial days after I changed to ZAPPER-Q from stock within 100 kms.

              Till date from 16-May-2010 I have clocked a mere 4000+ kms uptil today morning.

              Yesterday checked it from MRF Centre. The tyre is defective. It has some small holes in the inner TYRE near the RIM.
              The company will change most probably after a RECONFIRMATION from the Service Engineer who was not available yesterday.

              Lets hope for the best.

                had a visit to fort-point mahim today
                i had very bad experience
                they are unable to solve my vibration problems

                they have ordered left mirror as its hanging , rear left panel due to sticker peeling & front visor as its has formed cracks near screws [ would miss the xbhp sticker ]
                all this for no charge

                by the way
                kevin was working on my bike
                but still facing the problem

                  Today my bike was inspected by the surveyor. From the original estimate (which I've attached earlier), he cancelled out the front fender as it got only a small scratch, he cancelled the front disc brake and wheel as they were perfect, cancelled the winker assembly as the indicator cover got only a minute scratch, cancelled the base of the right RVM.

                  Also he kept the handlebars for re-inspection i.e after all the remaining parts of the bike have been fixed.

                  But anyhow I'm going to order all the parts even those which are not selected by the surveyor. The SVC told that after the order gets delivered, I can choose for what parts to replace and what not to.

                    started riding a motorized cycle on a chetak classic.
                    Learned to accelerate on Y RX100&135.
                    Learned not to fall down, the patience to heal wound on knee and to ride long on a classic Pulsar 150(still running)&180.....
                    Planning for more dream destinations on a new ZMR

                        Its VOR. The funny thing is that. I posted my story earlier here and in a thread in pitstop discussion thread. I requested Delhi people on 28.08.10 and they directed the SVC to do the needful. They booked it as VOR on 3.10.10. And it is the status of the same i mentioned above. That why I want to tell HERO HONDA SUCKS

                          Heh heh. Join the club pal. My bike's grounded for the past month as the caliper seals were not available. It's their standard greeting line, "Sir, we dont have it in stock!". I felt like tearing my hair apart.
                          What do I intend to do? Stuff ZMR drivetrain into an Ambition chassis and watch others run scared!

                            I own a zma in chennai and sourcing spares in a pain - a real pain- they do not have any spare for the karizma forget about the ZMR. Hero honda should do something sbout this. this might one good reason for me to switch companies when I get my new bike. I love the bike very much but the hassle of getting spares is driving a lot of existing customers to think about switching.
