I think its fine with pillion to get a 119 of speed...

sound must be coming from cover surrounded on meter console...you can put some single sided black color tape...like a foam one...my Service center put the same when i complaint about it...they charged Rs. 32 for this..Particulars are as

119 with a pillion is good.

good to see that you got your bike fixed after mishap ! did u get all parts easily?

Uploaded SIX snaps of the Front Disc Pad @ my last servicing @ 4210 kms.
Now completed around 5220 kms. Do I need to change?
As already mentioned earlier it has worn out.

Thanx Mohsin. The parts took more than a month to arrive at the showroom. And even then the headlight unit, handlebars, and rear cowl was missing in the order.

. I was really frustrated on this, as I've waited 42 days without riding my bike. So, I contacted almost all the Service centers in Hyderabad. All of them but one did not even have a single part of ZMR. Modi motors had the headlight unit and the handlebars, so I rushed there and bought those, only for a shameless "thank you" from my service center guy!

Still, I need to get the Right Rear Cowl and front mudguard (they have scratches).

She prefers riding the bike @ 140 kmph not being a pillion.
As a matter of fact SHE is an excellent CO-PILOT to me.

Someday it might happen she rides a

I had a pillion weighting around 85kg and i maintained 95+..

It was a night ride on NH2 (under GQ), road was dark, it was drizzling through out the trip, and weather was damm cold..

* We got over all mileage of <25kpml
* Stock lights were good for nothing.. It was hard to detect if its on or not. Rode most of the time while pressing the pass switch..
* Stock engine oil (which was new for the trip) sucked big time.. Within 100kms (at panagarh) bike was really harsh and vibrating a lot.

* Meter was awesome.. had a P220 with us which does 152 as top, when compared side by side, at P220 doing 40 -> ZMR is 36, at P220 doing 70 -> ZMR doing 63/64.. Percentage of meter error was increasing with higher speed..
* Real time mileage indicator is also great.. 110 -> 23/22, speed at 100 -> 28, speed dropped to 90 -> mileage up there at 30/33

frankly speaking, over all, Stock ZMA feels better to ride than stock ZMR

.. Then again, its just a personal opinion..

Stock ZMR bulb is bad: i have changed it to Osram Night Breaker, it feels awesome now thanks to big reflector.

Low fuel efficiency: it usually increases after 2nd or 3rd service so dont worry.

Speed and engine vibes: Stock bike has some loosened parts so its a normal behavior. The service station will take care of it in the first and 2nd service, also these will go down once the engine becomes smoother.

Speedo reading : pulsar has a big speedo error, the speeds that you see on zmr are almost accurate, tested it with a speed gun

Right..ZMR has a sensor...for accurate speed...the same has been confirmed by Overdrive in there test drive...right now i am not remembering the sensor name its "contact lace" or other name...just forgetting..

Bike is going fine finished 4th service running at 8000kms.. lot of vibrations between 3k-4krpm and fine above or below that has to take care at next service..

How much KM have you cover after head light bulb change...do you feel an change in bike start or any other...mean to say any load on battery...
