I'm planning to change my ZMR stock bulb as it is not very powerful. Can some one suggest me a good one in a decent price range... I'm interested in a direct fitment bulb rather than a HID model.

I remember reading about Osram and Philips models.. Could you please tell me the exact model name so that I can get it for my ZMR.

ps: I read through around 100 pages but couldn't find that page about bulb replacement

Go for Osram Night Breaker, i am using it and its performance is too good bro. it will cost you around Rs.900 for a single bulb

Apart from that, you need to change your braking habit a bit. Use 60% front and 40% rear. That should solve your problem. If you rely completely on rear there is no way to avoid skidding or use engine braking + rear brake (though not recommended at high speeds).

The rear tyre is Michelin M45. I use 50:50 front and rear but when I use rear only then there is no issue. Its on using the front that problem arises.

                  • HID fixing/ Bulb Queries

Hey guys..after searching a lot in pune markets...i have come across a HID kit which is cheap and has a warranty...the question here is...what is our bulb type?
                    H4 ? H7?

If its H4...then how does the HID bulb go in?? is it a perfect fit? cuz i have a honda dio and i had tested a HID and stuff in it before...but the bulb of the HId was different so the effin glued it to my assembly! (what ass wipes?!)

so how will they put the bulb it? just put it and turn it and *click* it ll be fixed?
                    or will there be complications??

                    where does the blaster fit??

the whole fairing will come out??

what needs to be opened and how is the wiring done??

pls answer the question in bold format! thanks guys!

Bulb type in ZMR is H4. Most of the cars have this bulb only... I found this video quite useful for first insight into fitting HIDs... However few questions still remain like where to put ballast and need to open fairing...

Nice pics. When was your bike serviced last? Your bike chain needs lubrication.

Its a H4. Fitting is simple. You just have to place the bulb in its position and a spring type clip has to be locked.

                              where does the blaster fit??
                              Refer the image below.

the whole fairing will come out??
                              NO

Only the black flaps surrounding the meter, right side battery cover.

Connect the HID wiring harness to headlight socket. Red wire directly to battery and black wire to ground of bike.
Ballast to HID bulb its a connector. (visible in snap)
