My God.. Please be safe.. next time a vehicle is on highbeam.. don't look into the beam instead look on the road.. it has helped me many times.. atleast where your beam in focussed... Take Care of your health and I am glad you are safe..

This is very common in India. its not their fault mate. guess u read in daily news papers on whats happening. people pose as if they met with an accident & when someone comes to help.. they are snatched off everything they have by the person posing.. This is India.. but yes.. if people are in large number.. then should have stopped to help u. also.. people try to avoid police cases. thats one horrible news. Sorry about what has happened with you in your case.. Get well soon.. and the like to your post was the last para of your post..

I'm glad u're safe. The repair cost is going to be high. But how come were you able to see the bus's HLs on a single lane road? Was it coming in the opposite direction?

Regarding the bold part, there are more looters compared to good samaritans and hence people play it safe, but your concern is valid. Keep us updated on the proceedings.

Yes acceleration is slow, top speed I could achieve was 105 n engine doesn Rev above 6500 rpm wat so ever.
Engine oil leaks from cylinder head? Den it has to be a serious issue cos I've seen RE Classic smelling a lot but the oil used to leak at the cap where we put the engine oil, have to check with a good mech asap

By single lane,I mean single road.We don't have much double road here in coastal area.Yes there are such instances of people looting others but when you see some body falling right infront of you,you can help right? thats what i felt bad about....a biker and a omni were right behind me(just half mile away,but visible clearly)

.Anyways I am thankful to god that,they dint run over me as I was in the center of road.....And a great thing i noted was,bank angle sensor in my bike works perfectly...

Thanks mate,Nothing much happend to me but my black beauty took all the beating.Will miss her now for couple of weeks...

Yup.. I know how horrible it is to stay without our bike.. its like we are a handicap.. hope you get her back ASAP

I am glad to know that you are ok...vehicles coming behind you could have run over you..thank GOD nothing happened to you.
When driving in the night , whenever on coming vehicle has powerful high beam always look to the left and 6 feet in front of you.. ...this will prevent you from getting blinded by the light...and reduce speed to manage sudden breaking, if so needed......

i also faced similar kind of fall long back but didnt brake anything
there were many scratches on the right fairing and silencer cover and right handle pipe was slightly bent but managing with it even now

right fairing -2100/-
lower fairing-1000/-
silencer and rear brake pedal - no idea
right mirror within 700/-
front brake lever - 200/-
not sure about the price, these were as told by a spares person in hero svc

you will get 35% for fiber and 80% fro metal parts after claiming insurance
5% discount if you have goodlife card

So you've taken care of the clutch plates, air filter and engine oil. Change the entire sprocket kit at once. Also, what is the condition of tires?
Get the vibrations damped using tube/double sided tape.

Ya dats d only thing left to be done now,d mech in d asc filled up only 1l of oil although I told him d capacity is 1.3l is dat fine? Just guide me where to stick tapes n tubes wen v catch up ok and whr do u service your bike? I thought of leaving in dream machines but he was very busy n didn't respond well :-(

1L of engine oil is fine. Just keep an eye on that dip stick. I work on my bike myself most of the time.

From last few days whenever I start my bike via self starter, the trip meter and clock resets, No matter if engine is cold or hot. I have filled distilled water recently and used the bike for few hundred kilometers to allow it to charge fully but the problem is still there.

Bike is taking self though cranking is little slow along with trip/clock resetting.

Battery is stock - Amco brand which is now four years old. Over 16,000 KM on odo

What you guys suggest? Should I replace it now or use it until it dies permanently. What should be the perfect replacement? New Amco battery is 700 rupees and Exide is 1250 rupees. I am thinking of getting Amco battery!

Welcome back Anmol bhai!!! I thought you sold your ZMR long back.

Replace the battery and have peace of mind. My stock battery is exide. ZMR 2011 model.

Hi mate, ZMR was sold long time back due to some unfortunate incident.....this is R model.

Oh. Get yourself an Amaron 9AH then. Since your ZMA is the older model, I guess you can fit the 9AH battery without any modifications to the battery cage.

+1... Go for Amaron. It is the best maintenance free battery.
