    Just got the Sprockets changed.. got it back to stock.. had the P220's 36T rear sprockets...

    Heres what I noticed after the sprocket change..

    1. Better Acceleration.
    2. Loss of 5kmph top speed.
    3. less Gear change needed.
    4. Got the Lovely Chain noise back.

    also the P220s rear sprocket just completed 10000 kms and it was completely worn out.. however the front sprocket (stock) was still clean enough to complete another 1000 kms.. by the way.. my Black Pearl has completed 24000 on the odo...

    Got the Oil change done.. thank God I didn't wait for few more days else it would have screwed her badly.. didn't find time to get the bike serviced till today.. got the motul 300V Factory Line 15W50.. Was using the same earlier.. Engine is back and smooth and I loved it more now.. Getting ready for the Long Tour to Bhutan..

    Also Thanks to Divya Sharan.. I changed the Fuse with the Starter Relay and now the battery seems to charge properly.. Didn't get time to check at night.. but Will check.. Big Thanks to you buddy

      Glad to know that my suggestion helped you in a positive way and you didn't have to spend for a new battery.
      But why use a w50 oil? It reduces vibes no doubt; but also it affects mileage and performance.

        Didn't get much other option from Motul.. i don't think it has affected the mileage much as I have been using the same for almost 10K kms.. but performance.. not sure... as I didn't find much difference.. but once the engine warms up.. the bike is butter smooth

          I tried 20w50 once. Had to drain it off within 500 kms as the bike became sluggish. It took at least 7-8 seconds to reach 60 when ripped. Top speed was limited to 116 with only 5-7 litres in the tank and proper tire pressure. Mileage dropped down to 35 in city and 36 on the highway.

          Post oil change, I got the desired performance back. 10w40 feels like a balance. 10w30 gets the best acceleration but it goes bad within 1.5k kms.

            Which oil are you using?? fS or mineral oil?? Yup.. It kinda feels sluggish.. but that is beyond 100 kmph in my case.. Please tell me which oil you are using

                I use Mobil1 10w40 FS. Retails for 760 bucks a liter.

                        Though a personal opinion but yes Mobil1 10W40 FS is better suited than Motul FS for ZMR.

                        Obviously the driving pattern and terrain of an individual does matter.
                        But YES Mobil1 scores high on Mileage, Top Speed & smoothness with respect to Motul.

                        Only catch is you need to find Mobil1 and should have the guts of paying 1250 INR a litre for new Bottles

                          Is mobil1 that costly??? because, I have shifted to mobil1 recently and i got it for RS.820. Yes it is a bit old stock (2012).Did they increase recently??? (I am using Mobil1 racing 4T 10w-40)

                              Yes, newer barrels are costlier. If you're able to get 820/- wala bottles, its better to buy 4-5 at once and store them for future. Engine oils stay good for 5 years if kept at a cool place.

                                But am not sure whether it is original.Bit afraid since there are fake engine oils.If you can post a picture of the bottle it would be better sir.Also, I have put just one bottle oil (1l) to my zmr.Is that 1l sufficient???
