        Filter Query.........

        Hi Guys,
        which filter is good for ZMR ? Does it increases the performance ? Does it affect the engine ? Mine is 3 months old and finished 5000KMs.....

          which body covers do u guys use for ZMR... I have taken one local cover but it does not cover the complete bike well...

                  Not fully ...till the fairing...only some portion of tyres are visible from bottom....cover is supposed to covered till the gear shift as you also need to tied cover from bottom part only...

                    Not sure on the filter...may be K & N filter will be good to increase performance...

                      Also guys one problem I am facing a problem now a days occasionally that is whenever I try to start my bike My digital meter switches off completely and then the time gets resetted to 1.00am and I lose my trip .... what is going on ... Has anyone else faced this issue ???

                      Get your electrical system checked. I had faced similar issue in my Karizma-R. Service center guys used to just recharge the battery and give it to me. But somewhere it would short again and would discharge teh battery.

                      finally got the electrical harness checked and changed by a castrol bike shop mechanic.

                        Also I feel the acceleration of ZMR sucks. My Karizma-R used to accelerate much faster.

                        This one accelerates like an Alto with the AC on trying to climb a slope. Also, there is no torque in the lower gears. The bike just stops at low revs in 2nd or 3rd gear. Have to slip it into 1st in order to accelerate again after a pothole or speedbump, etc.

                          i have bought a cover from tip-top shop [very famous for covers ]
                          its for 240Rs & it covers the whole ZMR ....it touches the road ...no tyres visible

                              Guys here are some spare parts price
                              the front disc cost Rs 1500 ... karizma r disc can also be fitted ...its cost Rs 1400 [it has only paint difference ]
                              the oil cooler ...that is radiator cost Rs 8000


                              is it possible to attach a grill in front of the radiator as seen on p220 ?
                              as i seen a zmr ...where sum dumb jealous people f#{ked his radiator by bending the fins in it
