One of my friend told be that i should not use self starter of my ZMA-R in morning as it will reduce its life......IS IT REALLY SO???..

when i asked the svc he told me that there is no issues as zma self starter is of advacned type(he explained that its motor is imported from japan only-MITSUBA)

ok i can use the kick but wat the zmr owner will do????

is it really essential to do so...i mean many bikes doenst have kicks???

    pls elaborate in detail...

      hiii

      hii guys...

i bought a ZMA R 2 weeks bak just because its good for the price and theres only a .6 Bhp increase in the ZMR ...but the weight of the new ZMR actullay nullifies the .6 bhp....so just bought the R series...

actually the ZMR is been on display before 1 1/2 month in KERALA where am from and got a chance to sit on it...wondering why not in pune?

the guy who is mentioning about the ZMR told the biggest blunder for which i laugh now also ...he told the new ZMR goes till 188 Km/hr..and more than that also with vibrations...i was like sshhheeeessshhh..how did that guy get job in Hero Honda..i asked him if he was telling the truth and he was so confident in telling that they even did the test ride in kochi airport runway....hitting 188 km/hr...i told even the ninja Hits top speed not more than 175km/hr....but he was stil with his point...i walked out laughing...

^^^ You should've told him that you hit 200kmph on your ZMA-R with the help of some engine tuning.

Seriously, this is one of the effects of recession - hiring 'knowledgeable intellectuals' as sales guys!

Hope they do not not compromise in after sales service, since this bike has an advanced Fuel Injection system with a few sensors, of which most of the SVC guys may not be aware of.
From variable Bhps to a constant 17.6 Bhp.

should be, if the swingarm is same, and the mounting can be fabricated. You would need the entire assy. The rear alloy wheel, the disc, the caliper , caliper mount, and the spacer on the axle, also the brake lever with actuator and reserve cylinder. Could be 7-9k easily.

Rear disc brake setup is not mounted on Swingarm. Its on axle.

I had a similar experience , in a Yamaha showroom . He told me tht the only difference in fz16 and R15 is the top speed , R15-150kmph and fz is one less 149kmph. i was absolutely shocked and i asked him is tht only the difference and nothing else , he said Fz has a midship silencer , i askd so wht?? , he said its small , powerfull .... i walked out while he was talking

                            • zmr update...

well i have done around 1100 km now and my zmr is giving me average of 38-40 kmpl....... i was expecting atleast 45........

the fairing has a small scratch now, thanks to the autorickshaw.......wat i did i put a little touch up paint using the brush...

really the big fairing needs to be take cared very well..

however engine performance is fine and no cold start issues yet...as it is fi now.
