And the point is whenever I am trying to raise an issue people are saying some rosy things.Originally posted by veryhiphop View Posti am too confused..earlier i change to headlight bulb to 55w then within 2 weeks i remove it...
1) ZMA-R had no problems with a higher WATT Bulb. But it also had a KICK start option.
2) Riding pattern is also different in different places and with different people.
Long run Highway ride is always better for ZMR than Short City Traffic Ride.34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

To be honest I am more than
happy with the performance of ZMR in Kolkata City Traffic which I consider one of the worst globally.
Insane drivers & bikers with no respect of law & decency. Add to that the callous approach of pedestrians.
But true cons are
1) Second gear torque with my wife in pillion sucks.
2) Headlight in Night Highway Traffic is pathetic.
3) Personally suffering with MRF Tires.

I am still single so cant say abt it, but yeah it sucks even in traffic.

yep true, i am regularly travelling approx 350 km on each weekend,
headlight is not at all sufficient in night traffic especially on singe roads.Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

Hi guys. Did a mileage test with 5 lts of normal fuel. 90%in city (heavy city traffic) and 10%on highways.
The bike did 196 kms. So I'm getting 40kmpl in city and thats too good
.
Anyone tried synthetic or semi synthetic engine oil?
True. I Agree with both the points.Originally posted by satyajitrc View PostAnd the point is whenever I am trying to raise an issue people are saying some rosy things.

Hyderabad is no better! Even then I'm happy with my bike.
But true cons are
1) Second gear torque with my wife in pillion sucks.
I think it is a matter of the long 2nd gear ratio.
2) Headlight in Night Highway Traffic is pathetic.
Even I felt the same the first time I rode. But from then on, I make sure to adjust the headlight beam according to highway needs everytime before I make a highway night trip. It does help but only to a certain extent.
3) Personally suffering with MRF Tires.
For the past 7 months of riding my bike, beleive me, the rear tyres skid only twice of thrice and that too when I used the rear brake all of a sudden, without using the front brake. The tires are working fine, if not best, atleast for me
From variable Bhps to a constant 17.6 Bhp.

Tyre Problem is not with skidding but continuous drop in Tyre Pressure which in turn hampering the mileage.
I changed to ZAPPER-Q in first 100 kms.
Here is a
log chart for FUEL from the Date of Purchase (16-May-2010) of my ZMR.

But luckily, I do not face such problems. I maintain 33 in front and 35 in rear tyre. And I check every 15 days in the automatic machines of the petrol pumps. On checking, the pressure will be 32-33 in the front and 33-35 in the rear tyre.Originally posted by satyajitrc View Post@ Fast_Ferocious

What air pressure do you maintain. And are you facing the problems in the stock tyres or Zapper Q?From variable Bhps to a constant 17.6 Bhp.

33 for front is high, it should be 29, though initially i was filling only 25.Originally posted by fast_ferocious View PostBut luckily, I do not face such problems.
