Nice Light and looks good too. Some queries though

    1) Which Light has increased significantly the Low Beam or High Beam?
    2) Is the spread of Light is concentric or spreads well enough?
    3) Hope you never opened the fairing?

As I guess there are no after effects like HORN sound or starting problem etc.

This will not happen initially till the battery is good but need to be careful.

I am also planning very soon based on your reviews.
    Answers to your questions

    1. Both . You can see the throw on upper and lower on road.
    2. Spreads well enough
    3. Had not to open fairing

Horn, display all are working fine. This should not affect battery.

It is leagues ahead compared to stock bulb

Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

          Mohsin,

Very nicely said. So all your modifications done. Pretty good.

I need to do the following soon.
          1) Tire change to MICHELIN Pilot Sporty
          2) Head lamp change to OSRAM Night Breaker

This would make things complete I guess.

Just wanted to know the current status of ZMRs deliveries..?

Has HH got it rectified...or still people are given unnatural wait periods...?

According to the last info I had, spare parts is still a big issue..?

                  • yes spares are available only on order.

My friend broke his clutch cable, they didnt have.. they gave a karizma cable as replacement , pathetic

i am done one year with ZMR. Bikes fantastic, no hassles. runs like a dream on highway. However just like karizma, prone to crowl cracking..its probably due to bad roads in mumbai as well.

specially the cowl at the point of helmet lock.

at the mounts, were the mirrors are mounted, those are also prone to cracking from inside.

                        • Hi All ZMA-R/ZMR owners,

Though I'm a 2T fan. I would like to upgrade my other bike Honda Unicorn (2005) to a better for touring purpose. I did go through pages randomly for couple of days. However, need some better opinion on buying Karizma. I've not personally driven on ZMR, however, had experienced ZMA-R (old). I like the riding position and as well as the comfort.

Going through this thread found there are opinions that there isn't much difference on ZMR when compared with the earlier ZMA. The point of difference comes with FI, style and rear disc brakes.

However, my major worry is all about the after sales support - SPARES!

I had gone through the pains of procuring RX parts for my bike this year, trust me, would never recommend anyone to take up restoration as you will need to go places to get them. Phew! had enough.

I'm reading HH Karizma parts are being tough to get across the company showrooms which is a concern to me, even though the are still being in production.

What made me to post on ZMR thread? I wanted a cruise bike for long rides. Why not pulsars? Not that they are inferior, but they are not in my top list.

                          Need to know opinion on:
                          Long rides (800kms+)
                          Cruising ability (90kmph+)
                          Engine smoothness
                          Reliability (on long rides)
If you were to buy another one would that be ZMA-R/ZMR?

So I would appreciate if you can spare few minutes to write a line that would help me to to decide.

The only difference in ZMA and ZMR is of Advance Fi...rear disc...full fairing..Full LCD meter console...Clip on handle bars...LED tail...tubeless tyres...

                                Yes, spares are issue...

                                as for your queries...

                                Long rides (800kms+)

++ ZMR is capable of taking long rides without any problems...and seating posture is very good which allow you to run the ZMR without any back pain or so..

++You can easily and continues run at 90+...max speed here ZMR owners has done approx. 128

                                Engine smoothness

++ Very much. It will get better as start driving

                                Reliability (on long rides)

++ ZMR has a very reliable product...no quality issues

If you were to buy another one would that be ZMA-R/ZMR?

++ I would prefer ZMR due to technology (Fi) and features although it is expensive...
