Else, while installing the ballast, the guy doing it would have skipped adding a relay or bypassed it. You should have checked it afterwards.. Now that you say the light and horns are getting affected, get the entire wiring checked and please get it done with some other mech or at the asc.

bro first time when ballast blew off it was due to water clogging but second time after all care and keeping it away from water also
it blew off so i reverted back now
had got my bike checked by svc
he says there is no problem well now after changing fuse everything is ok now
but still am finding horn blows in a weaker tone after switching on the lights
Is it because of the 55/60W bulb??????

Horns will be marginally lower if you use your bike mostly at nights and battery isn't charged well.

Get your battery charged once n try it.

Nothing wrong. Most of use use a 55w bulb. Ensure that you run enough to keep the battery charged.

Well, my horns change tones according to my indicators, when they are on!
Happening since more than a year, so in your case, there's no reason to worry!

                      Update on my bike.

Knocking taken care of. Tappets were off by at least 20%.
Feeler gauge was used this time.

Air filter yet to be changed. But acceleration has improved drastically.
                      ODO now is 66900 KMS.

Mines a ZMA, and when I'm running with the 55/60 for long at low RPM's the horn fails to work, so I ride hard and make sure the RPM is above 5k, and the horns start working again. Which did not bother me much, cause my bike runs on a carb, but since your bike runs on FI, I would make a serious recommendation, that you would use an independent relay to power the HL. Dont want to be stranded in the middle of nowhere at night, right?

Any automotive shop dealing with car electronics would be able to help you. It is a DIY if you understand circuits.
I have never bothered to put a relay though! My running is high. 52 km daily. 26 of it is at night with full use of headlamps + blinkers + horn. No issues.

P.S - you'd get a slightly better illumination with the relay in place, but that *might* melt the reflector. I guess Ravi anna may clarify on this. Tagging @ravi@17bhp here.

Having relay will also reduce load on stock electrical wiring. Considering the benefits, reflector melting is negligible (at least I'll ignore it totally). Reflector will melt in long run, it ll just create tiny bubbles. Also turning off headlights when crawling in B2B traffic will reduce heating up.
