Good Evening All.

Its been a looong gap with the forum due to problems with the XBHP CONNECT app on my phone (which is still unresolved/don't know why).
Happy to see the thread after so long

This 26th Feb my STEED will be completing 1Year

, and it has been a journey with lot of smiles and happy memories. The bond is just going stronger.

PS- dropped my bike last week

didn't notice the stand was not engaged fully, left handle bent and the bike feels odd over bumps. But surprisingly there was not a single scratch on the fairing THANKS to broad handle bar weights and the saree guard which took the beating. Got the cone set and fork's checked for any damages and have ordered the left handle bar (hope it arrives soon/bike still feels odd over bumps,potholes).

Sharing a few pics from my recent rides.

my Black Pearl will complete 5 years on the 24th of Feb

will complete 46000 by then in 5 years of ownership..

Will get her washed and polished completely.. Will fill up her tummy.. till now, my BP has completed more than 45678 kms

waiting for my friend to get his stolen bike back. once he gets the bike, we will go for a long tour

will try to complete 55000 by the time she turns 6

Thanks a lot buddy. When I bought my bike back in 2010, I didn't use it much for 1.5 years as I was provided with office cab.. I was working 24x7 during the first 1.5 years of my professional career.. hardly completed 5000 kms in first 1.5 years

and then after I changed my career role into software my BP started munching miles

Very much the same as me. I did 1200 km in the 1st 6 months.

At the end of 1st year, I did ~5000 km and then the touring bug hit me!

rectifier overheating #karizma ZMR

Guys..i own a 2013 karizma zmr and topped up at 8500 kms.the worst thing happened. Fuel pumb totaled. Now after 2months it replaced. And the rectifier also changed. Now the problem is the rectfier is heating badly just after riding 4 or 5kms. I asked the nearby hero ASC they told it should heat. Dont know what to do. Anyone please tell whether it should heat or not? Or it may be any bad circuit problem??

well then my zmr is just 15 days younger than yours will be completing 5 years with my ZMR on 11th of MARCH

completed around 26000kms on my odo fully on city ride
no long tours on my bag ...

My bike's projector ballast once again blew off for the second time in 5 months didnt wanted to pay another 500 bucks for the second time and too after that the shopkeeper said there s no warranty for that even if it blows off in a day. so I said him to remove the whole setup and revert it to stock ones
I gave him MINDA 55/60 bulb to install coz always I have read here in XBHP that we can install a 55/60 W bulb in our ZMR without any Problem
but while coming back home I was experiencing problem
Bike's horn was not working on full intensity when headlights were ON
and after some time fuse for Light and Ignition blew OFF

Also check the inside of fuse cover. There is a diagram with correct fuse ratings.

Well, balasts don't just blow off! And you say it was the second time. Problem was with your bike circuitry. I guess the fuse did not blow off when a high voltage was sent to the ballast. Else, while installing the ballast, the guy doing it would have skipped adding a relay or bypassed it. You should have checked it afterwards.. Now that you say the light and horns are getting affected, get the entire wiring checked and please get it done with some other mech or at the asc.
