Either your battery is not getting charged or it is somehow discharging very fast. It could be a simple issue like a faulty capacitor somewhere. Stay on top of the SVC mechs and have them do rigorous troubleshooting and they should be able to fix the issue.Originally posted by nateriver View Post"I set out running but I take my time, a friend of the devil is a friend of mine. I would advice you to Take it to the service center ASAP.Originally posted by raja_ghuru View PostGuys. Mine is just a 4 day old ride. Have done about 200 km. I sense vibrations (more than normal) right from 2k rpm to 4k rpm; in brief bursts have also noticed vibrations at 5k rpm. I could feel the vibes at the tank, seat, pegs etc. The gearshift is pretty smooth though. Is anyone else facing the same?
Should I bug the svc guys now or wait till the 1st service is over? Your thoughts please.
It took me a while to convince svc guys to agree 'bout vibs in my machine.. If they do not attend, try loggin call with bajaj customer service.. they r really good and will push svc to attend your issue.... Though convincing the svc manager was sufficient for me... Now, I m waiting for parts ( the complete footrest assembly unit...) Lets c how it goes.. will keep posted.....

So it means that the Bike gave me a mileage of 73 kmpl... OMGOriginally posted by nipunblaze135LS View Posti only feel vibrations in the right footrest between 50-70 rest is ok, i dont know why the vibration is only present in right footrest.
i dont think replacing a footrest will solve but you can go for it no harm in it.
No! there are no compartmentrs in the fuel tank if you will see a detached tank it is single at the end.
wrists do feel numb after long ride, its because body weight is shifted on hands due to riding position.
you can bend your elbows a bit to remove the pressure of body.

OMG Till now I only managed a 55Km/l.Originally posted by Alok Sam View PostCan any one tell me about the Petrol Tank, Is it divided in to two compartments internally..??
What happened was, 2 days back my bike slipped from a piece of a tile, some petrol also came out from somewhere. At first time when I had calculated my mileage it was 62 kmpl but yesterday when the bike came to reserve it shows an mileage of 73 kmpl. Has the petrol from right side of the tank (assuming that there are compartments) cause this Increase of Mileage of 10kmpl..??
My wrists pain while driving the bike, also sometimes there is numbness. I tried changing my posture.. no help..!
Will have to learn tips from you on riding.
Man sit on SVC guys head or call the BAJAJ service cente either your battery is lemon or the charger would be not working properly most probably 1st situation holds true.I've completed 518 kms on my P-135. It's great, except for one issue (worrying issue) :
The self starter doesn't work 90% of the times. It used to work great during the first week or so, after that, it works at random.
What happens is, when I use it, the display console goes blank, and nothing happens. Then, the console gets reset (displays 188 in the speed column, full fuel, battery low indicator, etc, ie, all the parameters are set to their max value, like what happens during self check), and the console comes back. Kick start works fine.
However, the console shows a "battery low" icon once the console comes back to life after the failed electric start attempt. Now, initially the SVC guys told me my battery is low, and would get sorted out if I rode it for 5 Kms.
I rode it for 30 kms continuously, and then tried it, and the problem reappeared! The low battery icon again resurfaced.
The electric start does work sometimes though, it's completely at random.
Now, either the battery is not getting charged, or there is some internal short which is draining the battery gradually, are the reasons I could think of. Since I am a novice at bikes, I hope I get some help from you guys.
And, the bike stands in the sweltering heat of Chennai (40 deg + easily) for 6-7 hours daily. Could that have caused this problem?
I'll be giving it for its first service in a few days, hope the SVC guys atleast identify the problem.
Inputs from your side would help.
Temp has nothing to do with it.

Can this be it?
Folks... I'm not sure if this is of any consequence, but I think it may be; coz I just noticed and so you might have, that the engine mount points of this bike don't have any rubber mounts at all! Not even rubber bushes (which could've helped cut down on the vibes). They seem to have directly bolted the engine onto the chassis (both at the down-tube area and the rear spine where the swing-arm hold points are also welded).
Just my thoughts on this.Live life, a quarter-mile at a time!

Oh man, thats a terrible piece of newsOriginally posted by Alok Sam View PostGuys..
My baby.. some one stole it yesterday night.. she was just 800kms and 1 servicing old.
If icatch him.. he is screwed.. Her name is MH 12 FX 4742.
, feel so sad for you. Just 800 kms old and bike stolen, this is a problem with bikes, just so easy to steal away. I hope you have filed the FIR and police traces your bike soon, Insurance claims arent easy when you demand a total loss/stolen.
