        @Young boy: I have a few questions.
        1. At what rpm does it hit 60 & 70 kmph?? at both 4th and 5th gear?
        2. Is the engine comfortable at these speeds?
        3. How is the rear suspension setup??, pulsars usually suck at this department.
        4. Handling and grip?
        5. The most annoying one...Average kyaaa hai???

        Waiting for your reply.

        Cheers.

Ya, the speedo console is very nice. It is taken from XCD135 but it looks better on the P135 than on XCD135.

          1. As, i am still in run-in and the max. speed limit till 1st 1000 km is 45 kmph, so can't go for higher speed. But I have reached 60 kmph twice and then slowed down. I exactly don't remember the rpm, but it was somewhat 5-5.5k rpm in 5th gear.

          2. Ya, the engine is very much comfortable at those speeds. It has a great pull and cold also pull from low to high speeds without any sign of stress visible.

          3. The rear suspension is set up a bit hard on the bike to improve handling. In my bike, the rear suspension is making a bit 'kach kach.....' sound when it gets depressed. I will get it checked at the service centre soon.

          4. Handling and grip are awesome. it is very nimble and cornering at progressively higer speeds is pure pleasure.

          5. I don't actually know the average now. But going by the fuel meter, I guess it will be close to company claims.

The 'kach kach' sound might be from the loosened chain.Check the slackness of the chain and adjust it.

I opened the small rubber on the chain cover and saw that the chain is on the lower mark. I will get it checked at the service centre soon.

Strange & Shocking Thing noticed about my Bike

Yesterday, I took my bike to college. There, one of my friends pointed out to me a very shocking thing on my Bike.
The rear tail lamp portion is not in straight line with the rear tyre hugger (mudguard), i.e., the tail portion is a bit (about 0.5-0.8 cm) leftward with respect the centre of the rear tyre.
Below is the pic. I have drawn a line to clearly state the dis-allignment of tail portion and rear tyre. See closely, the line does not pass through the screw present at the centre of the lower portion the rear tyre hugger (mudguard).

I am very worried about it. Please, someone suggest me what to do. I have already sent an e-mail to Bajaj customer service attaching the pic. Is there a hope that I could get it corrected under Warranty ? ? ?

Ya, yesterday went to svc with my friend for his P150's servicing and there was a new P135LS on display. I closely observed it's rear end and saw that it is also having the same problem as mine. But in my case the dis-allignment of tail portion and rear tyre is quite easily noticeable.
You are saying it isn't a threat. Well, till now I haven't faced any problem due to that.
Bajaj cust care replied to my e-mail asking for my Bike's regn. no. and saying that they have noted my problems and would contact me to sort it out.

Today, someone from the service centre called and said you sent a mail to Bajaj stating your problems and asked if I told them about the problems earlier. I said that I told them about 1 problem of the front wheel not moving freely and one mechanic did something but the problem still remained. He said you come with your bike to us and we will correct all the problems. So, I went there with my bike along with one of my friends. They said about the dis-allignment of tail portion with the rear tyre is common on all the bikes and it is not a problem. The 'kach kach' sound from the rear suspension was corrected and now the sound has reduced to a great extent. Now, when it is pressed with force a faint sound is heard. The 'tak tak' sound coming while using the rear drum brake was corrected. The mechanic opened the rear drum and did the proper allignment of the drum pads and now the sound is not there. The front wheel has now become more free after they opened and corrected the allignment of the disc pads but the screeching sound is coming to which the mechanic said that in a new bike this sound from disc comes and it will go after some more time automatically. I also told him that in the morning I couldn't start by using kick start and have to use self with a little bit of throttle. He said that it is not at all a problem. The kick will automatically start working fine after few days and the problem is mainly because of winter season and there is no harm in using self starter and giving a bit of throttle.
At last they gave me a customer satisfaction form to sign which stated that the problems stated by me are corrected according to my satisfaction.

200 kms in 10 Days - An experience

Yesterday, 200 kms were completed on my bike that within 10 days after purchasing the Bike. I am just a city rider and don't travel much a day so kms get clocked on my odo slowly.
I generally ride in 40-50 kmph speed range. And sometimes in 50-60 kmph range. But I am giving short bursts sometimes. I have touched 70 kmph and about 6-6.5k rpm twice and 65 kmph thrice. I would say that the experience past 60 kmph is mind blowing except for the slight vibration from the foot pegs which doesn't matter when you are riding at 70 kmph and above. But there are no vibrations in other parts till 70 kmph.
The overall experience with my bike is very nice except for the minor niggles which I got mostly corrected at the service centre after an e-mail to Bajaj. But, my Bike's front wheel has not become totally free still now and a slight screeching sound from the disc is emitted when the wheel is rotated. The rear suspension is making very little noise now which I guess is acceptable but will get it checked again at svc during 1st service.
One thing I have noticed that the engine oil has become blackish, which I guess is normal.
I calculated the mileage after reserve day before yesterday. I got 53 kmpl.

Touched 75 kmph at about 6k rpm

Yesterday, once I touched 75 kmph at about 6k rpm in 5th gear and then slowed down as I am still in run-in and the Traffic !!!, it compels you to slow down. I generally ride below 50 kmph and sometimes give short bursts of higher speeds. I felt that the vibrations from the foot pegs are felt mainly in 60-70 kmph speed range. Above 70, it is just pure pleasure and I couldn't almost feel the vibes in foot pegs. Actually above 5.5k rpm, one could get a feel of the real power of the bike. I am dying to complete the run-in fast and ride in the power range above 5.5k rpm most of the times.

@ Youngboy_220: Dude: Please check that there no bends on your front disc. The jamming of wheel and screeching sound might be due to that. If not then try to pursue bajaj to service your front brake, that is remove all oil from the brake system and refit pads and fill fres oil. Problem should go away.

I have checked but there are no bends on the disc. Yes, I will pursue them to service it completely at the 1st servicing.

Yesterday, I touched 80 kmph at around 6.5k rpm in top gear. One thing I can say that it is pure pleasure above 70 kmph (which comes at around 6k rpm in 5th gear). But, couldn't maintain the speed as I am still in run-in and I am giving just short burst of higher speeds and then leaving the throttle.
