as for motul 3000 4t......i had a very bad experience with it!

am not going to buy it again. Currently am using Power 1....am hating it to the core. I found True 4t to be better than the power 1. Lots of nose after i filled in power 1.

My expirence with Motul 3000T for the older Apache 150's has been really good. Sai you can give that a shot!
But if you can manage to find Veedol Super Swift go for it, its the best and most VFM oil you can get. Its 10W40, Semi-Synth, ~250 bucks, but let me warn you that its very very hard to find. For starters you can see this!

Motul 30004t lost its properties within 1k kms in my RTR and out of those 1000kms 200kms was touring with an avg speed of 70kmph. rest are all city riding. I found the shifts to be hard.

As far as i know only i have had a bad experience with it......but sai....give it a shot...!

URGENT !!!

my bike is not performng smooth but i cant give it to service till 18th October .(Rtr refresh 2070 kms)
I think its due to My Chain getting dirty n dry .

Ill go to serv centr 2morrow since il be paying fr it can u tell me how much time n money wiil it cost n any other small thing also to service that doesnt cost a lot ???

get it serviced for free .,, you dont need to pay for it ...

Puneet if you think the chain is dry and dirty , go to service center and mention the porblem they will sort it out. you bike is in warranty and if the service is not due than get it done in the quick service section.

Its surprising that the motul did not perform well...anyways just contacted veedol....they asked me to cal later so that i can get the retail outlet info.. the oil change is due in another 200 kms....

I think you got me wrong, I said that Motul good. Nothing exceptional though, the Shell oil performs as good!

Sai,

As far as i know......motul has'nt worked only for me. i myself was surprised looking at the oil and the svc guys too....they have used motul 300V on a RTR and the results were very good!

got my chain Cleaned n Oiled n also got my Creaky handle oiled n 1 more thing also i got fixed .

hmmm...now you have got me thinking again....

anyways..I have used 300V on my classic apache for 7k kms...it felt damn good...changed the oil out of a slight but totally unnecessary doubt as realized later...

regarding the loss of power feeling..it happens only in the hot sun ...thats something i need to inform the service center guys about.....
