Mine also makes this "Thud" noise (very minor though)... but in my case i observed that even the key bunch is adding to it!! BTW IMHO if your bike is behaving normally in spite of this small sound, it's not of any big concern (esp. because i have not seen anyone who got this solved by the SVC guys ...

here is an update on my bikes front wheel wobbling issue. TVS service has found the issue and its the tyres. when both the front and back wheels are replaced, there is no wobbling. now I have to go to tvs tyre office to get it replaced!
just wanted to know, is that done by all manufacturers? that is, if pulsar has a prob with its tyre, does the customer have to go to MRF to get it replaced?
total days bike was in service center during the past 4 months just for this issue is around 15 days! and it is still not fixed. not to mention time spend there during office hours and auto fare
did anyone get a survey call from TVS regarding service satisfaction? after asking many questions, last Q was, how many points I will give out of 10. I said 5.Acta non verba

has anyone done de-carbon on the bike? svc ppl said its mandatory after 20k kms.. do they just clean the valves/ports or replace them?
btw what is first stage boring the engine.. will there be any performance loss because of that?A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.
Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

Yes i was once asked to go to the TVS tyre office to get my tyres changed. But the declined it stateing the woobling is too low to give replace it under warrenty. I did'nt mind too coz it was too low. Now i have changed both the tyres on my own.Originally posted by Trigger View Posthere is an update on my bikes front wheel wobbling issue. An xBhpian had an issue with his FZ's rear tire. He had to go to the MRF office to get it sorted out. Common practice man. Am glad that ur issue was resolved finally!Originally posted by Trigger View Posthere is an update on my bikes front wheel wobbling issue. I also got a survey call from TVS. The caller promised that I will see changes for sure. And yesss, I saw changes.Originally posted by Trigger View Postdid anyone get a survey call from TVS regarding service satisfaction? after asking many questions, last Q was, how many points I will give out of 10. Previously, mechanics used to clear one problem and the problem again creeped.
Now, they clear one problem and again the problem creeps up, with another problem...
Its like, they cudn't bring back the original braking so they fingered Horns.
But now, they can't bring back original braking, so they messed up the clutches and throttle so that the bike doesn't go fast (alongwith fingering the Horns
).

But still I open-heartedly gave 2 out of 10Yes....
I'm still Alive...

Thanks Apar. But I wont be sure till monday. depends on what the tyre guys do. One prob is that I have changed my rear tyre. hope they dont give all the blame to that and shoo me off.Originally posted by Aparajith View PostAn xBhpian had an issue with his FZ's rear tire. Always recommended to change filter and oil both , costs 30 rs. Try to put Motul or Petronas or Gulf oils . they are better than castrol P1 . see pic for filter locationOriginally posted by Saty View PostHey guys I thought of changing the engine oil with Power1 or if I get a motul300v at home but I ve noticed that oil filter is also changed so please guys enlighten me where is this oil filter.A pic must be helpful and also can we easily change it at home???

I can second that. In my case the breather pipe was running free and was adequately tight at the battery outlet too but still there was acid damage on two separate wiring connectors. The plastic housings on both were completely corroded and eaten away. Fortunately the metal connectors inside were ok so i just taped them up and tucked them away behind the starter capacitor, where they should have been in the first place. Dunno why the connectors were kept so close to the battery breather outlet. I can understand ease of access but it's not like they're gonna be unplugged every service.
