I didn't fall, after two days of purchase, the rpm meter was stuck on above 8000 and speed indicated wrong maximum time.

guys pl need the information

does RTR 160 does not have rev limiter as one of my friend today red lined my RTR FI and claimed that rpm niddle went more than 10k rpm

RTR's doesnt have rev limiter. many of us have pulled it to 12k rpm lots of time!

Hey people!

Posting after a very long time. I have been following the thread all the time though

Went on a decent long ride last weekend. Covered 400km in 6.5hrs (including city ride of 25km - 1hr). And had a 230km stretch in 2 and a half hours

Bike behaved like dream even though it was not serviced for 1300km before the ride

On the way back, bike was ridden in the same condition (only tightened the chain as a precaution) and all was well apart from slight oil leakage from gear box due to a loose bolt.
And, last but not the least, mileage was about 41!

Hey guys nowadays (esp. after my second service), Im getting only 40kmpl as millege. I dont ride in an insane manner too much. The max rpm I have reached is 7.5k rpm and normally rides in 5k-6k rpm. Before my second service I used to get around 50kmpl with 5k rpm as max. When I gave for service I had told them about misfiring case and all, like tappet noise from silencer. Now those issues are not there and when I checked the idle rpm is as usual at 1.2-1.3k rpm. I also checked the oil level and that too is fine. I dont see any other issues. Only thing is its giving less millege. Any idea what might be the issue?

tappet noise from silencer? (valve)tappet is in engine!

Can anyone tell me the price of ball racer and the bearing with which one way clutch is fixed on?

ooopss i didn't had that info as far as i know RTR 180 does not have rev limiter but 160s have but any way dil garden garden hoo gaya

. You must have heard TVS Victor producing such sounds on the run. Well in my case its not that worse. It happens when I rip in high throttle.

I guess you are talking about tappet noise.The noise comes when it becomes loose.am also havint the same problem but the bloody SVC dont even know what is Tappet!

Guys Got my Apache Hyper-Edge.
Gone through a really bad day. First Digital Speedo was not working. The n the petrol pump was out of petrol, so had to put octane in petrol tank.
Then at last at 8PM a good Service center guy came in SC and he fixed everything.
Thanks god i have everything I need.
Will update tomorrow.
Today I just feel dizzy and crazy.

I have got the manual. Though not technical ones.
But it would do the work for me. It is written in Bengali.
