OT-^^..I did not liked the black and white paint scheme(personal opinion). If he wants more applause and praise,I would advice him to post the pics in the'Share your creativity' thread thoughThat would do some more justice to these pics. :-POriginally posted by onlinesatish View Post@drifty
wonder what is he trying to prove. his bike does look nice, but posting it all over the place is like spaming

Whats brocket? have you checked the level of brake oil?Originally posted by sunny9830687955 View Postrecently having prob in my front disk lever
spongy effect is there so done bleeding and changed the brake pads but still the prob is persisting
so went to my mech and after checking he said i need to change the brocket
and recently went to svc for tuning and svc mech advice me to change the brocket as well as brake lever
is it really needed to change the lever & brocket or only changing the brocket will solve the prob
have you checked the thickness of the Disc? why you have to change the brake lever? TVS SVC in kolkata are really bonkers!
I guess your disc is misaligned.Put your bike in center stand and rotate the front wheel,if it jams while rotating then the disc is misaligned.Originally posted by adnansanni View PostGuys, there are some kis kis kis sound from front disk when I apply break. I've already clean the pad with sand paper and wash the disk but no luck. Any idea?Speak Less,Speak Wise!

as per mech brocket is the rubber & plastic washer type of thing, right after you open the cap of the chamber where the oil is kept on the handle bar even few says that is the master cylinderOriginally posted by haxor View PostWhats brocket? have you checked the level of brake oil?

My bike's spark plug died at 250+km. Needed to buy new one
There is a mode after hi-speed mode on meter. If I reset it then it shows 9.9 or 8.8 something like that. What is the main function of it?
Could anybody explain that?
Is 20w50 grade engine oil ok for RTR?Adnan

Which grade are you using for engine oil?
Thanks Haarish92, but the problem is RTR doesn't come with any manual in Bangladesh. Does anybody have that as a pdf or scan copy?Originally posted by Haariss92 View PostAnd adnan the high speed thing is just before the lap timer ...you can check out how to use it in your manual.
Few minutes ago I've discovered that, there is 10 times blink the service light (red one) on the meter when switch on. Any idea?Adnan

thats the service indicator, it s just a reminder about due service , its based on KMS covered on ODO so first service is at 500km so it stars blinking at 500 even if you get it serviced before.to make it stop just press both buttons together for 30s or more till you get a blink from the same red lightOriginally posted by adnansanni View PostWhich grade are you using for engine oil?

Brother i was also having the same problem.Originally posted by sunny9830687955 View Postrecently having prob in my front disk lever

Even after bleeding the problem was not solved. Had to sit on the head of mechanic and pissed on him, then they found that the problem was with the pump in the Master Cylinder which regulates the oil.
Mine is solved.
Get the pump checked and fight with them regarding the same else they keep on saying that the brakes are alright.

Heey there guys.
I am planning on buying Apache 160 - Hyperedge.
I am from Bangladesh and currently using Gladiator. I just wanna upgrade because of getting a 150cc bike.
I have been reading mechanical engg. and civil engg.
Now my advice to go to all of Apache owners is that :
To Complete Run In period and Better Engine Life and Also Nice sound of engine: ( 2400+-200KM )
1.Engine Oil Change
1st - 190-210KM
2nd - 690-720KM.
3rd - 1750-1800KM.
Use Mineral Oil for first ~5000KM.
2. Gear Shifting Paradigm
0-500KM - upshift under 3.5K
500-1200KM - upshift under 4.5K-5.0K.
and then gradually increase 5.5 for 100KM-6.0 for another 100KM and by so on-7.0-8.0 and go on and remember to do this till 2400KM because it is very important, Because Engine needs to be established at every RPM module. After that Ride your own style.
Morning Starting:
Engage Choke and Kick - should start with one kick and then engage choke for 10-15 seconds. Don't apply it for long. and then just idle the engine for at least 2-3 mins. It is better if you idle for 4 mins. and then for rest of the day, use ES.
Cornering :
Corner with caution. The tyres are very skid happy. I myself a gentle rider. But on road I also skidded once in Hyper edge in my city.
Ride responsibly. Before doing / trying anything stupid remember you have a family.
Anyways Guys wish you good luck and wish me luck at having my Hyperedge.Yamaha Gladiator SS - Owned and Sold.
Apache Hyperedge - May 2 - July 16
Tiger in a Wolf's body = Apache RTR = Small Size - Amazing pickup.
Beat that if you can.
Yamaha SS 125 - August 17 - January 10, 2012
Backed in it for my true love for Yamaha.
Still best ride for me Apache RTR ( till 150cc )
Apache Hyperedge - January 10, 2012 - Present

Well,I read in a manual that using choke everyday isn't required and it is harmful,Should I define? Yes, I will
Choking causes an excess flow of fuel inside the cylinder and we choke the cylinder and there is a small explosion(excess fuel+spark) and hence engine starts and some of the unused fuel leaks into the engine compartment and hence mixes with engine oil,it doesn't pollute the engine oil but I guess on a long run it will do some I guess!Correct me If am wrong.

I read somewhere that you shouldn't change gear while cornering it may cause wheel lock and engine braking!and combined with skidding tires may cause fall.Speak Less,Speak Wise!

Man you saved my day. Many many thanks. I was worried. Now I'm really miss the manual. Will it stop automatically rather than press the both buttons? What is the next reading (km) for second service light?Originally posted by kantu View Postthats the service indicator, it s just a reminder about due service , its based on KMS covered on ODO so first service is at 500km so it stars blinking at 500 even if you get it serviced before.to make it stop just press both buttons together for 30s or more till you get a blink from the same red light
Welcome Sumondatta, It is really nice to see another xBhpian from own country. Have you been reading both on machanical engg. and civil engg same time?Originally posted by Sumondatta View PostHeey there guys. I am planning on buying Apache 160 - Hyperedge. I am from Bangladesh.

Have you bought already or going to buy? You said planning on buying and later said you skidded once in HE in your city... Anyway Best luck with your new RTR, Which color do you going to buy if you haven't already?

brother. Typing mistake, it won't be happen again.
May I ask, what stand for s92?
I do agree with you, only on cold weather and run-in period, we should use the choke. And about the kick, My FZ-S didn't have the kick, My R15 doesn't have the kick, so using kick on morning maybe good for battery but it shouldn't be mandatory.Originally posted by haxor View PostWell,I read in a manual that using choke everyday isn't required and it is harmful,Should I define?
