  • Brothers, when bike is kept for sometime, Bike seems not to response in pickup. It only responds to throttle when it is warm. Remember Bike never stalls. But throttle seem to have problems. :/
    Any advices?

Is it for Engine Oil? I will replace my Oil at 50KM ODO.

I had the same problem. One of my friend's new RTR also had the same problem. Did all the things we can do but no luck. Later when I went to SC for the meter problem, I told about it, He (the mechanic who were working on my bike) spotted the problem within few seconds and opened the carb and reset some pin in there and fitted it again. No more that problem till now.

Which manual you have? the one with service coupon and warranty?

            • Guys,
Can i get the spark plug and oil change of my FI done from a road side mechanic? or is any specialization required for this?

Thinking of giving the bike for servicing, but do not have the FS engine oil or the NGK Iridium spark plug with me now.

                • yeah, you can but check the size of the spark plugs.
If the new spark plug is longer than the previous spark plug, then it will harm the piston

Because of less reponses from engine. :/
After changing I got smooth acceleration.
Anyway, is 20W40 grade is OK brother?

Me didn't either. But felt for some need.
May be supplied engine oil was bad.
and When I got to SC they are trying to put 20W50 oil in my HE and I told them to get castrol 20W40. and They did.

And also SAE90 oil, I couldn't find one.
so I am going to make lube with used engine oil + 1 liter new engine oil. =~1800ml and use it at interval of 20 days. I think it would be OK. Yeah It is for chain lubing and joint lubing.

DONT do that !!!You will end up spoiling your o-ring chain.Used engine oil may contain small metal particles not visible with naked eye and would damage the chain.Use any other SAE90gear oil, look for Elf gear oil or better way buy the TVS Tru4/Motul chain spray!

If youre looking for cheap oil to lube the chain, then use 2T oil.
I buy a 10 ml pouch from the petrol pump and oil the chain.Works fine
