But he is smiling behind the hands if you notice! To me, the pic looks more like a school kid who has planted a cracker/bomb inside the class&waiting for it to explode!Originally posted by psycho28 View Postthe photo looks like you have done something wrong, and afraid that the police is going to put you in jail

though on the levers its not tht much noticable but the alloys and exhaust are now lookin bad with patches of white.........Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostIt is expected-Indian heat! My R15 aluminium accessories which were gold colored have all become white now!
Anyways, for the plastic&painted items, you can get teflon coating done, which restores them to the original shine.
Else, use a good wax polish for the paint&car dashboard wax polish spray on the plastic parts.

actually now i have my first bad patch. at the lower end of the bend-pipe, near the belly fairing, there was some plasticky substance. after a hard ride when it was nice and hot i scraped it off. but now it appears that the paint has also gone in that region. its an oval-ish patch about 3" long by 1" wide. not sure if it was the paint itself which got too hot and bubbled or if it was road tar.Originally posted by rennycornelius View Postyou're lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@vijay : bikes amazing.. but its not a hassle free one.. if you can shell out extra 5-6k for the FI ... its 5-6k well spent and the difference is worth it. The rear disc doesnt have the bite of the front disc and is lesser than the drum.. dont know if its only my bike.. however.. the braking is consistent and no worries about shoes wearing off (as fast) or cables being cut :| .. its also more difficult to steal fuel from the FI :P
anyway congratz on your decision.. youre getting a superb bike one way or the other
Lets put a smile on your face

Hi Vijay and welcome to xBhp. I don't want to sound rude, but the What Bike? section would be more relevant for this kind of query (What Bike? - xBhp.com : The Global Indian Biking Community).Originally posted by vijaykarthik87 View Posthi guys im new to xBHP.i felt that xBHP really rocks.......

There are loads of posts there with detailed discussions on RTR vs RTR-RD vs RTR FI. This is an example : http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/what-bik...rd-w-o-rd.html
So read up and enjoy your time here !

Lesser than the drum??? What's the point in shelling out extra money to get the rear disc then??Originally posted by terrordrone View PostThe rear disc doesnt have the bite of the front disc and is lesser than the drum..
My FI's rear disc is working great... although I haven't ridden an RTR with rear drum, so can't tell the difference.
