Only he exhaust was covered under warrenty....i paid for the chain kit and for the clutch.

There were major stuffs replaced under warrenty too which i cannot reveal here.....might put my dealer/mech under serious trouble!

LOLz...

Exhaust was changed for some serious rusting.......i thought it was only on the outside but there was rusting inside the silencer too

what i dont get is this...why didnt TVS just do a buyback and give u a brand new bike...since there were so many problems with yours????

Problems in my bike were never Major. Infact almost 60% of the RTR's are like mine. Most of the owner never know tht those parts were changed. I have seen them changing the entir Cylinder kit and thw owner does'nt even know abt it. and they never tell him too.

They tell me wat they have changed each time coz i insist on it and coz the supervisor is my friend. But this the the engine part which was changed was coz of sheer negiligence of the mech. they over tighten a bolt and the threads gave way!

Infact am sure even ur bike should have atleast a single part changed under warrenty.

How many of the owners knw that the pistons in their front suspensions were changed? (am talking abt the pre jan 2008 models)

See most of em would never know....its just that i know and am posting it here

took my bike to the rto camp to get it registered today.
all the paper works are done.

and now when i attach the meter wire, and when i ride i see that the digits in the speedometer(speed/hr) are increasing n decreasing rapidly when i accelerate or brake.this looks wired.is it in all the rtr?
cause when i rode p150 it was not like that !
just curious.(i guess u guys understood what i am trying to say)

The refresh rate of the RTR speedo is faster than the pulsars, it updates the display digits more frequently. Chill man its a good thing!

BTW wen did you get your bike?You registered it after so many days?Is it allowed? Here they don't let you take the bike out of the showroom if its not registered.

This says something about the quality of the bike then. As long as warranty is there its fine,but its still a hassle to keep going to the dealer to change parts regularly. What later once warranty is over?

first off all thank you very much for clearing my doubts.
and i got my bike on second of April.its not allowed here as well.but who cares !

.only the paper works are done now.i will get the whole thing on Wednesday.as the rto is closed tomorrow

lol i hope nothing in my bike was changed under warrenty (mine is a may 2008 model). The only problem i ever had was that the seat latch got stuck and that was changed but it wasnt covered under warrenty. To date, its almost been a year..no problems with my baby so far..other than the usual wear and tear from daily usage.

Hey guys Some "ajeeb si" problem in my Fi that I bought 2 month ago.Whenever I ride the bike after standing it in my parking at my college for a duration of about six hours I feel a considerable decrement in power.I feel there is some kind of lag that is pulling bike backwards.I have checked with the service centre guys but when they ride they say its absolutely ok.
Another problem after doing some wheelies when I do some rolling stoppies I feel as is there is a bend in my front alloy again I confirmed with the service center guys and he said its all fine.
The pressure is normal and some times low in my front tyres.
Please help me out guys.

guys got my fi babe today

Guys i got my FI delivered today, i really need help for the things noticed after my first ride
1. engine heat - i cant even bear the smell & heat generated by the engine. i can say i cant even touch the surface of the engine damn hot & some kinda burning smell i can feel, did u guys notice the same
2. sound- exhaust note is really awesome but in idle i can able to hear some additional noice with the timing chain roll

m a new user of FI please help me in maintanence & intial care that i should take,, please help guys as these things are really annoying.
