So everyones getting those prblms like tank heating,engine heating etc etc

But a strange problem hear the bike is normal as per SVC guys but when I compared it with my friend's RTR(wHo literally rapes his bike with wheelies

and endo's

).I found that my initial was pretty low

and at same time the tank would heat up so as the engine and the fuel gauge is a crapshit

(missed ma Zma's

)
Also my friend's bike is stock(how ??? why???)

hot air on the legs are common in summers but ya during the first 1km is trouble....do check ur oil....

the engine oil is in good condition & is between max & min level

thr's this check thing written on my bike's engine,frame.....and tht too with permanenet marker tht's done by the TVS guys,,,,

it's written on the head, on tht starter and behind the engine block....

it looks just bad i tried to remove it using "surf excel", "tide" and even petrol but it didnt said bye bye....

i never saw such writings on YAMAHA or BAJAJ so why TVS....????

it looks just so BAD.............

Hi,

I am planing to fit OSRAM Nightbreaker bulb in My RTR.

Will it cause any problem....???

went to service center today. svc guy said he will have to replace the FI unit and related parts. covered under warranty. but no parts available now. have to wait one week for the parts. and then 2-3 days for the repairs.

i just hope the issue is resolved after that.
btw, how long is the warranty on the bike?

which svc dude ? how did you get them to agree to change the parts ?

Hmm Rs 6-7 for pilot lamp is quite cheap is it the price at svc center? I know 20 is more & more realistic would have been 10 bucks.

Is the price for footpeg(Rs 240) correct?

I wipe it after each ride. Oil hasn't reached there.

either there might be a loose connection some where or the gauge might have concked off!

The TVS engineer tried a different tank and a different fuel gauge. May be digital console is the culprit

. Will take 2 more days to arrive new meter at SVC. The engineer also doubted on wiring harness, but it was clear that meter is showing some (may be error) reading. Wires wud be OK.

I just said that I had these issues from the 1st service. just completed the 2nd service. had stated these problems then too.
A mechanic rode the bike and supervisor asked him something. then the supervisor said the FI unit will have to be replaced. I was surprised. Am glad they promptly agreed it was a fault with the FI unit. I thought I would have to come back again n again to the SVC till they would be convinced of the prob. if the issue is fixed, its two thumbs up for TVS service. and one thumbs down for the defective FI.
It was at Srihari motors. opp. forum.

6-7 rs is for the local pilot lamps. i never managed to get a osram(stock) pilot lamp. have replaced atleast 7 sets till now. but no problem with it ever since i put in cbzx's pilot lamps.

and 240 for the foot peg is a right price!

afaik.....most of the 1st lot FI's Delphi system(ECU) and the injector's were changed under warrenty for those who had the missing problem!

1) changed to some other system other than Delphi ? or updated ones ?
2) how do i know if mine is from the 1st lot or not ?

i am assuming its the unit under the seat.. right below where the rider would sit

today had simple accdent without hurt but i gut burnt my right leg by silencer..when i was streaching my leg to control my bike...this the porting below the leg break make my leg burn..any one here have any idea to avoid such thing now onwards
