yeah! same here.. knock knock knockin... (on heavens door.. jees i lov that song..lolz) i ve noticed it since the beginning of this month... right gear, right rpm, a shift up and still a half clutch is needed to keep it alive and goin
... thought its time i got it serviced...

I am going to give my Apache for a much needed proper service. The bike is almost 3yrs old. The alst service was ages ago. Just did a oil change then.
Present condition:
The Engine is noisy. (ok..noisier than usual
)
The front suspension is horrible.
Front disc is worn out.
Battery is out of charge.
Gear shift has become very tight.
Slight steering wobble. Also the front tyre had uneven wear.
Headlight out of focus.
The head(?) is leaking oil.
So my question is, when going to give a 23k km, 3yr old bike in bad condition for service, what are the things that I must keep in mind? Also the reason why i pointed out the present faults is that you guys can help me point out other related components which need to be checked.

1.check the pressure at the oil lines...
2.check the valve chain....

Not to that much extent in mornings (I ride 33Kms to my office, one side).Yes....

Try some better Eoil & a NGK Cold plug (CR&EIX) this time, it will help.

I also ride around 35 KM to office every day. Now with increased temperatures I have not noticed any significant power loss, but faced a problem with engine turning off after long ride. This used to happen when I have ridden the bike for 30-45 mins continuously at 60 - 80 kph. The engine used to get hot and at signals it would suddenly go off as soon as the RPM falls below 2K. Took to the service center and the guy increased the Idling RPM. It was little less than 1K. Now the bike feels fine. This Sunday I am going for a 100 KM trip (one way). Will know exactly how the bike behaves...Comment

guys i am going to give my rtr to service(first) tomorow to sajawat motors.
i just hope they replace my tank scoops.
i will be posting my ownership experience after that.
