Apache rtr efi

I own an Apache RTR 160 fi, I am having some question

1. Is Apache Performance Kit available in market?
2. Can i use in into my 160 fi?

Smoked headlight

Can i add a smoked headlight in my apache???

Apar, just refer the wiring diag of the RTR. I suggest u take it to a local mech near your place. If you short the wires, you'll have a blown fuse. After that the wiring harness itself will blow-up as a fuse.

Ok, is the battery dead or has the fuse blown?

Shit man!!!! As of now the battery only is dead cos kick-start works. So if I have to try some nonsense, I need to keep a pair of fuses handy!!! Hopefully the bulb will not blow up right? Anyways, I will refer to the wiring diagram in the manual as well.

Hi buddy i checked with my own apache. the black one seems to go for head light. but beware yaar as if anything goes wrong with the wiring you can end up blowing your head light. as you are telling your battery is down so i think fuse should be fine,

if not then you are royally jacked....

i have completed the runin period.

Hi All,
I have completed the runin period in my RTR FI... do i need to do something or start using the bike as usual for higher speeds.. i have maintained 40 to 45 KMs at 3.5k RPM..

My hands are itching to raise the throttle. please suggest,,

meanwhile bike finished its first service...

problems not solved yet.. the only problem i had was during first start of the day and idle for 1 min put first gear and RPM drops below 1k and bike switches off.. this happens till i ride 5 or 6 kms then its normal. hmmmm.. keep raising the throttle in spped breaker so that it doesnt switch off... newys have to live with it.. i would say pathetic service from megdooth motors..

now time to explore other service stations.

Apar, do you mean that the bike starts using kick start? my understanding was the FI wont start without battery.

go ahead start using the bike as normal. still, dont overdo it.
if the bike is switching off only when u cold start it and dont give throttle, then it could jus be a low idling setting. it is easily corrected at the svc.

This is mostly a clear case of a bown fuse. The engine starts with a kick, coz the electrical system has a capacitor. Once the engine cranks up, the ECU gets current from the magneto current.
Check the fuse.

How cum the battery is dead so quick? coz of HID's?

if ur sure the battery is dead then just get it recharged instead of running to the SVC!
