No LEDs yet. Will get them over the weekend and try. Got greedy and fixed the 55/60.... That was also perfectly working. Removed the rear number-plate bulb and the pilots to compensate. Works fine, beam spread is all great. Am satisfied.

      But I still could not find where the blue socket connects to. Could not find any loose wires. Have to ask the svc centre only. Lets see. The horn is also working now. Will have to get the battery charged morrow or so. Next job: sprocketting. Bike starts and idles and runs.

      @Kauria: Good job man. Looks cool.
      Thanks Apar, so u install a 55/60 and its works fine. Is it connected directly via battery or the magneto. Because you previously had a HID, so the battery line is present, right.Whats your advice and suggestion about HID after the battery mess up thing happend to u?

        As there is no chain guard, and with all the muddy water splashing into the chain.. doesnt it get dirty ? how to clean it ?
        the only way to clean your chain is to spray high pressure water to it while rotating as the rains will be makin it dirty the other day...
        same applies to disc too....

        • I am sick if the handle bearings now. They keep making pitting noise on rough roads. If i tight the check nut further, handle becomes so hard, and still it makes noise. Can i get the bearings changed under warrenty? The issue of clutchplate is standardized now. though, the shifting is not as smooth as my 30k victor, i have no complaints. plz. guide.(especially satish in case of warrenty. He is the most experiensed in that case )

          Is there difference in rear brake pedal on RTR and RTR RD/Fi? I think the one on rear drum RTR is larger.

              Nope yaar am running it via magneto only. It takes some time to start up, but after that the H/L is great. Like I said I removed the pilots and rear number plate lights. Each of them is 4W, so saving 12W from the magneto which brings the output to a possible and theoretical 47W(35+12). Lets see how this thing runs.

              BTW gave the battery for charging on my way to office. I removed the battery line. Did not want a loose dangling live battery wire that might cause short-circuits. Unless there is DC lighting I will not recommend HID for RTR henceforth!

                    I badly messed up my RTR-Fi. Today my brother found that the battery was dead while riding around. So have to take it to the svc centre morrow. But I have put the HID and so these guys will not take te bike in. So I decided to remove the HID kit. I successfully removed it and wanted to fix the stock headlamp back when I forgot the wiring connections. I have the pics. Can u guys help me with what is what. Please guys this is urgent.... Joel, where art thou!!!

                    In pic - 1, I see that there are 3 wires. I do not know which goes where. Can guys tell me which wire goes to which pin in the headlamp socket. I have circled the three loose wires with red circles. The headlamp socket is 3 - pin:

                    ---------- ||=====||
                    Pin - 1 <--- ||------ || ---> Pin - 3
                    ---------- ||------ ||

                    And let the top middle pin be pin - 2

                    As for the second pic, do u guys see a blue socket(inside the red circle)? What is that for?

                    Yellow wire is high beam, black white is negative and white red is low beam. the blue socket i think is two wire. it must be of brake light switch on front brake lever.

                      Check previous posts mate!! I fixed it on my own. Thanks a lot for giving the explanations man. The blue socket comes from the console.

                        same socket is there on my apache and victor too, which is connected to brake light switch. something must be thr on ur bike which in not functional. does ur(ur bike's) tail lamp work with both switches individually?

                        If a white and a orange wire is connected to that socket, it has to be for brake light only.

                          Ok, I will check and tell u today. As far as I checked all brake lights, horns, H/L - hi, lo, pass and indicattors were working. I will rpobably check all connections on the digi-console as well.

                                Yet another confirmation!!! Thanks. We probably need to confront TVS(not their crazy ASC's) about this....

                                BTW is this the case only with the RTR-Fi's or non-Fi as well? If its non-Fi as well then Mr. Joel bhai can probably give us an idea!!
