Post ur queries clearly first of all. Where did ur manual go in the first place?

EDIT : Had to go 3 pages back to read ur query. Phew!

How many kms has ur bike done? And how many services have u completed?

I live in the Dominican Republic (The Carribean) and they have no manuals.
They have sold quite a few of these bikes here so far but service as you know it there is non-existent.

Guess wondering about the usual things to look out for/do during my first 1000 kms (am at 500 now).

Thanks for the lighthearted response - cool.

Fine. Dont cross 4k rpm for the first 2k kms. Be easy on the throttle.

Since u have done 500 kms, u can change ur engine oil. It helps.

Let the engine complete it s run in. Most of ur issues would be sorted out by then.

I didn't know our beloved bike is being sold in the Dominican Republic! Where else is it available?

Seems a bit hard not to go over 4000rpms - and find breaking in a motor is good to have a bit of city/highway riding mixing the revs.

Am hoping most of the rattles will be dealt with after the break in period.

Would like a bit more punch out of it too since I am 6' and almost 200lbs.

                              the R15 pegs are gr8...
they're little short than tht RTR's pegs but i love their looks...
they're not at all slippery too...

but i've to attach those spring to them to make them retractable....

                              • wat to do

i have completed my runin.. its 1100 kms now. so i started giving throttle till 60kms. and was happily riding till i saw one FZ.. ops!!! i gave throttle Apache moving very slowly in initials. i never thought the response would b so slow. its so slow that in another signal i hit first gear and move.. there goes honda activa crossing my Fi and it was no way possible to catch.. . i dont think the response would b so slow. i know it cant b the RTR Fi problem. may b specific to my bike.

my bike response is too slow. is it time to goto to service center again. Any inputs would b fine. engine cries hard ven i give throttle. and when i slow down from 60 to 0near speed breaker therez a big sound from silencer as a cracker.. help me..
