i dont have the pics right now..will take some and post it as soon as possible.. Actually my friend bought a box of 2 pieces and he took one and i took 1. The bulb looks just like the one already present in RTR. i just opened the front assembly and replaced it. Didnt do anything else ..RTR has a 12V battery na, i believe it ll support bulbs upto 60W without any problems.
And in this bulb, when u press 'pass', both high and low beam come into action which is quite bright, unlike in stock bulbs. This helps when you are in highway, the oncomers will dip thier headlamps. My New Blog : http://ridesaferidelong.blogspot.com/

Now a days all automobile batteries are 12V only. I am gonna add relay for headlamp. he factory wires are too thin and cant take load of 60w for long. There's lot to it other than saddle....

I rode my friend's 08 RTR on a 2 lane highway yesterday (ride to Ananthagiri). It had better midrange than an R15. Top end was also really nice! I did 122 on its speedo&found that it still had some juice in it. Though it was vibrating quite a lot, this bike does have some good power in it!Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Really...I will convince my friend (it was his first highway run on the RTR) to try it out. He started crouching only yesterday!Originally posted by onlinesatish View PostMost of us have done speeds abv 135!

As for the F2, it does about 2-3 kms. a day (errand shopping). Otherwise cleaned&parked lol. I will take her for service soon, got to get the fork&other body vibrations sorted out. Due to this I'm not running her much, even though engine is doing great with Petronas. Cold starts are also great with NGK Iridium.
No dude, this was a pretty narrow road&I found only a small downslope (Satish knows which one I'm talking about) after the forest, so tried gunning her.Originally posted by rennycornelius View Postso you took it to her patented 12000 mark or not......

I will try out some more when I get onto the 4 lane in a couple of weeks. But she seems to be really high revving!
Quench my thirst with gasoline!
