      • On my victor the skweaky sound is no more, what i used to do is ride with brake applied a bit for 200-300 mtrs or so. it removes all rust collected and sound vanishes.
And for that 200-300 mtrs, i catch attention of all the croud and few nice eye candies.
There's lot to it other than saddle....

        • the rear brake noise is quite annoying . It sounds like the brake is gonna fall off.

Yep!! With the RTR Fi only. Am glad that I did not take the R15. With all that luggage and unforgiving terrain, the rims would surely have taken a beating.

My RTR as u all know was running with a much taller gearing and the loss in torque was very much noticeable. Ran the bike in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears totally. Used MOTUL 300v 5W40. In all the bike consumed some 400ml oil, but the oil was still golden in colour. I was very much able to keep up with the 220.

Though on bad terrain, the short wheelbase and and soft front suspension made manouevering tough. Was great fun on the twisties throwing the bike around with all that weight and blasting around corners with the chassis and tires providing great grip! There was very minimal brake fade too! By the end of the trip, the front cone set conked off and the bike was running helter-skelter. Will have to get it fixed. the Fi system made it a breeze to operate. Although at times during extreme cold, the engine would flood and switch off. All it required was a complete restart and the bike was back to normal!

Wait for the complete set of pics and trip-log!!

so better hurry and go to the showrrom and ask the matter...
                            ur battery's plates are gone...

now that's what i call the test of the FI system of RTR....

400ml oil consumption is bit too much i think and i believe ur tacho showed more than 7500 most of the time....

it's really good feeling to hear the beating FI took throughout the whole trip ans passed it all with flying colours...

POST THE PICS AND TRIP LOG SIR.......

                            • ^^Ur wrong!! The bike COULD not go above 7K rpm due to the lean air available. Always kept it at 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears and around the 5K - 7K rpm mark. If it were using the the original 13T, it might have been better. But what the heck, on the highways I was comfortably cruising at 110 - 120 all along!

Just for the record, the 220 consumed some 200 - 250 ml of oil!
